Faustina I am really not sure tbh. The usual colour mixing rules will apply , so I think with blue you are always going to get a purple, but black will probably take ..

I can tell you that Dylon smoke grey is quite light so dont use that. With Black a more charcoal will probably be only achieved if you dye several things black at the same time.

The problem is that the lighter the colour the more likely the tee will have a reddish cast .. You will have to be brave! and be prepared to love the result! .. once darkened if you dont like it you can always do it again with Black ( but on its own) .. Its always somewhat of a gamble ..

albird, I have w couple of dresses that I’m going to have the neck lowered on - probably not a V, but a slight scoop on the boat neck. I frequently shorten arms as well - especially sleeves that end level with my bust.

Zoya shirt and linen trousers - which I think I will shorten by about 1cm.

I have that top too. The colour is gorgeous actually. I also love the fit. Its really the most gorgeous material. I have the medium. It is a bit generous but its acceptable.

@neveradullmoment99 - I bought a medium in the tee because I think it's quite neat fitting isn't it? And I prefer a less formal fit. It is a pretty colour but just doesn't suit me. Fingers crossed for your jacket!

Does anyone have the brushed sateen V-neck dress? I have ordered it in a 12 but I am usually a 10 in Toast sizes. Not sure if I have done the right thing. Not even sure the shape is 'me'.

Its not generous like other toast things that's very true. Its just perfect :)

@paintyhands, I can heartily recommend Falke socks; they are very pricey at around £15 a pair but one can generally find them at TK Maxx - in a variety of colours and styles - for £2.99. The Falke Cotton Touch socks are simply lovely and, most importantly, they don’t shrink to sizes that are only fit for fairies!

By the way, which lucky individual managed to nab the Cotton Linen Canvas coat in Japan Blue as a return on JL?

@neveradullmoment99 I have the sateen v neck dress and I love it. I’m an hourglass and it suits me. I’m also a 10-12 but have this in a 12 to accommodate my boobs.

Thank you @slipperyeel. Sounds like I have chosen correctly. I am pear shaped and do have a bust so fingers crossed the 12 fits. I read that the black one is smaller than both the denim and the camel coloured one.

I have only managed to fall across a pair of Falke socks once in TKMaxx, and I wasn’t sure they weren’t men’s, but bought them anyway.

Sadly it wasn’t me who bought the coat in Japan blue on JL. It was a 14 and in any case was sold out at about 1.40 am! I love the look of that coat but it’s far too expensive even reduced on Toast. I hadn’t seen it on JL before, such a great price. The reviews say the sleeves are short though.

I tried thr Kin gingham shirt that Cherries ordered.. it says that its oversized and, they are not kidding .. This is an 8! ( And they don't go any smaller) Cool in an arty way? ( Or just in the Party - that is marquee- way? )
