Boiledeggandtoast, sadly, no, I was outvoted and we went to the Olafur Eliasson exhibition instead (I’ve honestly never seen so many selfie-obsessed Hoxton hipsters in such a short time and in such a confined space - except maybe for the Steve McQueen exhibition, which we visited this February half-term, which seems a lifetime ago now). We also loved the Picasso and Paper (?) exhibition at the Royal Academy, and were gutted to just miss out on the Kimono exhibition at the V&A, which is accessible online as a virtual tour, but I’m holding out for being able to visit in person this summer.

I see a couple of new season full price items have appeared on John Lewis site. At least that gives us hope they’re continuing to stock Toast.

How big are Alix trousers? I nabbed a pair .. I want baggy but reckon probably going to be far too big because they are 16,.. Toast waist often meand that I need a 14 but wondering though if I may be able to alter them ..

Oh and the Jude trousers also... why not ?
The blue cotton workwear jacket is back in a 12 ands 16 .its really nice comes up big , I have worn mine loads lately.
I see that they have the needlecord dress in new , so hopefully they will restock

I've bought the tapered trousers in a 12 for £40! Hope they'll fit, usually a 10 but they look high waisted?

Can I ask how long it’s been taking for John Lewis to process refunds for those of you who’ve returned items?

Earlier someone asked about working for Liz Earle? ( Cant see it now). Well they have been brilliant for DH .. He is in their IT section and so has been wfh all through lockdown, but of those they furloughed he said that they topped up everyone's wage to the full amount ,. They are really good at green credentials , the building is fantastic, green wall and roof , big garden space for relaxing in ( and they grow veg they use in thier canteen!). Hes really happy there. Also as his team had to be on all the time, and were really frantic sorting out IT for home working he got a bonus ! They are also still sending out the monthly goody boxes .. He tells me that they have also maintained orders , but had to reduce their range and warehouse people because of social distancing. Says now he is back in part time ( they are having to rearrange workspace for everyone to be able to come in some days) that they are being super careful with ppe etc. Nice to hear and of course good for the island to have them here

I have the Alix trousers @Laska2Meryls. The morning I bought them on JL they only had an 8. Took a punt on them, normally a 10 in a trouser these days. They are a great fit , after wearing if anything a bit loose, but I’ve worn them loads. So that’s maybe not good news for you. So sorry.
@AmethystMoonShine my JL returns had been quick but I returned the double breasted jacket last week and the return has yet to be credited, slow for them I feel. Nothing as bad as Uniqlo where two bits of sports type top seem to be in a black hole.

Sounds like they will be huge then , never mind..

I did this with a dress that is still on Toast website at £130 but was £65 in JL. They then reduced it to £39, although was sold out, and they refunded me the £26

Yeah managed to get the Ivar jacket on JL, have been eyeing it up on the toast site. Does anyone else have it? I sized up as will wear it in the autumn with a jumper underneath.
