Amethyst, I have the Maud workwear skirt in full gold and it’s a gem that will punch above its weight pretty much all year round, in my opinion. I love the fabric, which is as near to velvety Moleskine as possible, the colour is so versatile, and you can wear it with a simple t-shirt in summer or layer it up with cosy knitwear in the autumn and winter. It looks equally as nice with my Saltwater sandals as it does my Cheaney boots. For £34.50 it was a no-brainer as far as I am concerned!

@paintedwolf. - thanks! I quite like the long rise and baggy. I was also aiming for the dark blue, or better still the gingham in an xs so I think we might be doing a few early morning battles for the next few days!

@AmethystMoonShine - I sent back a small size blue striped jumper (and kept the large) - it is weirdly tight on the arms isn't it. The reviews say similar, and looking at the model you can see something's wrong

Amethyst, please give me the heads up if you send the linen swing jumper back!

What length is the Lai dress @Gonegrey31 it looks quite short , and thanks for the information re the colour. I thought I was black . Does anyone else find the colours on the website surprising when they arrive sometimes.

I’m 5ft 5 ins and the dress is mid calf on me, well below my knees. It’s a really flattering dress, swishy full skirt but not bulky .
I know what you mean about the colours , the background of my dress is that elusive dark navy . The description “Slate” was a bit misleading (at least to me).

I think I will keep the full gold skirt, I am a saltwater sandal collector so that’s sorted and also love boots in winter.... mmm I think it’s staying.....

I think it's how some people make a living - Ebay, isn't it? And I suppose Toast is pretty reliably re-sellable. I still think it's a bit shit though, to buy it all
