Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

I've been experimenting with more pattern on my bottom half and plain on top as that's apparently what an inverted triangle should wear.

That's interesting. Although I'd have to change my whole wardrobe!

5'5" and size 20 here, wearing rust coloured plisse culottes from Primark, and rust, beige and green batwing blouse from Gudrun Sjoden. First time I've dressed up in ages, but I just thought I've got all these clothes I love and I should be wearing them!

LadyPrigsbottom, I agree! And seeing as one of the ways I have been passing the time is shopping, though I better wear some of it!

amiable, me too! I've bought so many clothes lately . Not like me. Life feels short at the mo. Too short not to wear some nice clothes.

It will see me through for a good while though, I imagine.

Can I join please? No photo as I'm now in my pyjamas and have only just seen the thread! 5'4" normally size 18 but lockdown 20 Today I wore this dress with pumps, really hate jeans particularly in this weather but struggle to find casual trousers I like so end up wearing dresses a lot.

These are the dungarees. I have several pairs of them and also pinafores from the same seller. They cost a bit, but quality is good and I wear them a LOT.

Its so hot already today! A black slouchy t shirt and denim shorts.

Yes, it's hot here too! I'm not out of my pjs yet . Will post a pic when I'm dressed. Planning to wear navy shorts (ancient, for BHS or C&A - one of those places that doesn't exist anymore), a long M&S tank top and a white kimono. Have to do my legs etc this morning.

Ooh I like the kimono! I’m wearing this denim jumpsuit from H&M, with this ASOS jungle print headband and green superga trainers. Well, I’m not wearing shoes at all now but when I walk the dog I will be!

@LadyPrigsbottom thanks - it’s really comfy as it’s quite lightweight

I've recently bought a cotton and linen play suit from Asos, which is a similar top half to that jumpsuit Fenella and it looks super lightweight. It's due to arrive today, so hopefully I can wear tomorrow. Lord knows I don't want anything heavy weight at the moment. Goodness it's hot!

Speaking of floaty kimonos, after months of dithering and missing out on the MN discount code I've finally caved and ordered one of these today. I honestly don't know how generous - or otherwise - it's going to be but I can always return it.

In the meantime I've gone retro today. I'm wearing dark cream floaty linen trousers and an empire line cotton top with toning colours. I haven't worn this outfit for a couple of years as it's a bit casual for my current job but it's nice and cool (and my neighbour told me I looked lovely today which was gratifying).
