Today’s dress is another handmade (by me). Shoes from Clarks and are so comfortable.

I went for an 80s vibe today 🎧

I decided I’d wear yesterday’s trousers for a second day. I have a big (virtual) meeting today - hopefully this outfit will look suitably smart via videoconference. I was inspired to dig out my brogues by @Sickoffamilydrama. They’re suede and I wouldn’t normally wear them on a wet day, but since I don’t actually have to leave the house that isn’t a current problem.

@happytobemrsg oh the 80s! I wore pink ra-ra skirts and red suede pixie boots. How fab was I?

The opticians called to say they are reopening as I'm a priority patient because I'm shielding ( how do they know?) so I can have my pick of august appointments which is nice ( my test was due 28 March)

Very damp again here first thing but seems to be getting a bit brighter now. Fingers crossed I don’t get rained on again.

I have started thinking about autumn clothes since summer seems to be a non-starter. It looks like I will still be working from home so am going to need cosy jumpers more than anything. I need to buy some more Uniqlo heat tech tops.

I really don't know how to dress for the weather here. It looks cold. Dreary, overcast and rainy but is quite muggy. I've ended up wearing a jumper anyway

It's raining here today and I've been at work so in uniform all day. Back home in my grey joggers now. Think that's me in for the night, was going to go for a run but the weathers pretty shocking.

@TheOnlyMrsW no, I don’t sell my dresses. I would probably describe my dressmaking skills as intermediate. I love how absorbing sewing is and it has really helped my mental health in the past.

@TheOnlyMrsW thank you for asking. She’s still very under the weather, temp has stabilised at 37.6 and still enlarged tonsils. I’m worried but she’s got no energy at all so not eating much at all. The liquid supplements didn’t work out

@Softpebbles no I have t! I put them on one day but quickly changed as I was too hot. I’m going to cut about 5 inches off them I think. Wish the weather was more predictable. We are currently having thunder and lightning and it’s muggy but I’ve had a jumper on and off all day. Am regretting investing so heavily in shorts earlier!

@Sooverthemill thanks for asking, we are doing OK thanks we have to develop a new product in half the usual time but it means we are using the modern processes I've been pushing for so it may actually be the making of us we just need to get through this as no one is buying our main product at the moment 🤦‍♀️ & love your jeans.

Quite boring today: top and jeans both M&S, shoes Sainsbury's. Zoom meeting this morning and then off for a long walk, coffee and bit of shopping all with my mother (90 in a month and pretty stylish. Also very internet savvy so I shall not direct her to this thread as she would love it).

It’s stopped raining thank goodness so hopefully DH and I can clear out the garage in preparation for his booked trip to the tip. If I can leave DD!
