Hello all - new thread

Room for another?

I love this thread, but only now just plucking up the courage to join.
I wear a uniform 4 days a week so it's making me appreciate what I wear on my days off.
Still lazing in bed at the moment, but hope to post a picture of today's outfit later on.
Planning on doing a big sort out of my wardrobe later. Got to face facts that some clothes just aren't me and some don't fit (lockdown snacking to blame there!)

Johdpurs chaps boots and New Zealand rugby top (cotton short sleeved) it’s still hot but free arms.

Have to wear gloves to ride though because covid.

My picture is from yesterday evening (the light in my bedroom is much better in the evenings as it faces West). But I’m wearing the same outfit today, so hopefully that doesn’t matter!

@KitMarlowesCodpiece those are really nice jeans. I've got a similar pair (possibly from the first time around!) that I do love but they are just a bit too long to wear with flat shoes and I no longer do heels.

I'll dig them out later.

Very boring today, excuse the sheets and fairy lights everywhere. It's a Bedouin tent (clearly ) as DD is having a sleepover.

Been pottering keeping the house tidy. Not sure if I'll go into town to get my sister a birthday card or make her one. Might have a go at drawing something.

I love that stripey H&M top, @toastfiend. Also lusting after that Bella Freud jumper someone - @Judystilldreamsofhorses? - was wearing yesterday. Never felt able to afford her but have an ongoing love affair with some of BF’s jumpers.

@Talisin I have seven BF jumpers, all either second hand or bought on sale. If you get on the mailing list you get sample sale invitations - the jumpers are no more expensive than somewhere like Cos or Hush. (Still on the high side, but my first one is about six years old and still going strong.) I do bits of freelance writing work as well as my teaching, and tend to treat myself to a new one each year, usually in the summer sale.

It’s sunny so I’m hopeful! Putting on these supposedly relaxed jeans shows I need a week of not eating puddings! You can see how short my hair is now too.

Peacocks Jumpsuit, Sezane Jumper and havainana flipflops. I had a pair of these flipflops in silver and last weekend the thong finally snapped off - they were 8 years old!
I live in flipflops in summer.

Also got these bargain sandals in the sale for £10. Real leather from DP. Quite pleased with these. I do have a lot of sandals but was missing a tan pair.
