Grey and damp this morning. I have too many meetings to get away with dungarees, so I’m wearing a jumpsuit instead.

It’s rubbish weather so I’m miserable. Means I can’t even go outside. Oh well
Yesterday I chopped 5 inches off my hair. Don’t usually do this ! But it was annoying me and I know there’s no ping in trying to get an appointment in August ( first time I can go out) as all the second homers are here plus all the holiday makers. So two pigtails and chop!
Also having send back £200 worth of sale stuff I bought a pair of Russell and Bromley shoes I’ve been looking at for a year. Won’t wear until autumn but I know I will love them

I did have a lie in until almost 8 today which was wonderful as DD been sleeping badly which has a knock on effect

@happytobemrsg I worked in Whitehall 7/7 but had the day off and I was so nervous traveling back in afterwards. Some days took a few hours to get on the tube ( I used the same line) and DH used to coach me on the phone ! But I took each day at a time and our managers were great ( I worked for Blair)

So I got changed! Was just too hot.
In a rush so pulled out first tee and easy trousers

Trousers: also old hush!

Its a grey and drizzly day here. Im wearing a breton top from Bam and wide legged trousers from Saint and Sofia but im not actually sure the outfit flatters me. Comfy though.

It's wet and humid here so although I thought I was appropriately dressed, I was too hot outside.

Wearing H&M t-shirt, Whistles jeans, Stan Smiths.

As I’m finally back at work (although not today) I’m starting to make an effort again rather than is-it-sofa-comfy? as the main criteria! I have joined the L&Y dungaree club today for the first time with a pair of the teal cord ones over an oldish orangey red tee from Hush & rainbow glitter trainers from Next.

@Ellapaella My wardrobes are painted in F&B emulsion - left over from DD’s bedroom. I think the colour was Calamine?

Today I’m in decorating clothes so no pic but here’s yesterday

Shirt: Cos (in need of an iron)
Vest: ancient Primark I think - last remnant of breastfeeding days
Jeans: Ivy

I currently don’t fit into most of my nicest clothes so it’s very monotonous day in and out but also motivation to shift those few lockdown lbs so I can zip all my old jeans up

Wow @Sooverthemill I was in college then so thankfully I wasn’t going into London at all. I hate wearing the mask now - I think I’m tying it too tight as it’s hurting the back of my ears but I’m too anxious not to 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Talisin those dungarees are absolutely perfect on you. I bought Run & Fly teals as I couldn’t get my hands on Lucy & Yak ones. It’s a lovely colour. I’d love some more L&Y cords - my Green Bay ones are crazy comfy.

@happytobemrsg try this ear saver DD got DH one because he has hearing aids and found it really hard to manage the mask for his one trip out a week ( still shielding) and this makes it much more comfortable for him

We've had sunshine today ☀️
I took my 18 year old ds out for lunch. We sat outside at our local beach cafe, I had crab and salmon salad. A lovely afternoon. So nice to be out in an actual restaurant doing normal things!
Anyway I wore my Toast dress and a denim jacket as there was a slight breeze. I absolutely love this dress and can't wait to wear it more often.

Ah so many of you saying it’s warm. I have been freezing all day. My nails keep going blue because I am cold 🙈I’ve jeans, T-shirt and chunky cardi on. X

@TheOnlyMrsW I got the trainers a couple of days before lockdown so they’ve not had much of an outing yet. They’re actually from the children’s range but they go up to size 7 (41 so really 71/2) here

I've bought some lovely boots from the kids range at next before in my size, also Boden go up to a 7 in the girls shoes and for some reason the girls shoes are a wider fit than the women's so I've had some gems there before as well.

@Ellapaella that dress is so pretty. It is freezing here, 12 degrees. I’m meeting some friends tomorrow and it will be 12 degrees AND rain. (We’re not allowed indoors still.)
