Hello all - new thread

I have a different pair of chinos on today! I possibly have too many, I think I have bought a pair a year my whole adult life!

It’s not sure what it’s doing weather wise here
Tee: Boden sale last year 1st wear
Trousers: Boden wide leg chinos (2018?) weirdly a size 6! I am not a size 6
Sandals: Birkenstock’s

@OublietteBravo gorgeous blouse. I’ve sent back Three Boden dresses I’ve bought over last few months on basis that if I haven’t worn them I don’t ‘need’ them. Doesn’t stop me looking though!

Today’s outfit. Working in London yesterday meant 4 miles walking to avoid the tube & my legs are feeling it today 😫 ignore the crazy hair please!

No Lucy & Yak today... I think for the first time since lockdown started! 😂 Trying to break in my new DMs, although they're not as uncomfortable as I thought they might be.

Jacket - Topshop, I recently rediscovered this at the back of my wardrobe. I bought it about 8 years ago when I was at uni and haven't worn it for ages as spikes and toddlers aren't that compatible! DS is at nursery today, though, so taking the opportunity to wear an old favourite. It makes me feel nostalgic, had so many great nights out in this jacket!

Today I've got on a Next top, H&M jeans and Selected Femme cardigan.

Another trusty Bam top with my Saint and Sofia side stripe trousers. Im a little disappointed with these as they are starting to bobble.

Another revolting wet day here. Wearing Monki dress, with heat-tech top underneath, and DM Church monkey boots.

I actually started the day with cropped trousers and a blouse bit got so cold I changed.

Both of these were hand me downs or across from a relative of mine.

Do you ladies think I could roll the trousers on this Boden boilersuit up? I love the print but not sure about the cut on the legs.

@thetrinityishite I think it would look good (but I roll the legs up on everything, pretty much! 😂) I guess my only query would be how close fitting the lower legs are, as if there's no give in the material it might be tricky to roll them up much? (Although I have chunky, horse rider's/runner's calves, so that may be more of a worry for me than most people!)

I roll up everything and am about to take scissors to an H&M jumpsuit. I’d get it and see

Forgot to post my outfit earlier. As you can see white jeans were a bad choice with a three year old and 9 month old! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I was in London yesterday early evening and braved the tube. It was deserted.

I'm thinking of going into London on Friday and going for a run/walk round all my old haunts in soho/city because it was so strange and quiet without the commuters and tourists that I feel almost compelled to do it for posterity's sake.

Shoes - well they are I think granny sandals, got them brand new from charity shop. Very comfy.

I was wearing trainers earlier to walk the dogs and realised I looked not unlike a PE teacher.

I bought a load of loose, cotton throw on t shirt dresses at the beginning of lockdown. I wear them everyday lol

These City culottes from Saint + Sofia arrived today and I can’t decide whether to keep or send back. They’re so so comfy, made of soft jersey and have pockets - but do my short legs no favours, and are such a departure from my usual “jeans and a T-shirt“ comfort zone.
Hmmmm what to do?

No photo today, but I’m wearing a Mantaray sundress passed on to me by a colleague with a wrap cardigan I made as it isn’t quite as warm as a I hoped.

@Shannith where I work was deserted too. All the cafes and restaurants were closed. I’ve been living in a little bubble & to be quite honest, enjoying staying in our home. But going into London showed me the real affect Covid has had on retail etc
