Are there any redeeming features to this dress?

Sometimes I see things that are so weird I really start to wonder if it’s them or me. Am I missing something here? John Lewis is trying to pass this off as “effortless summer style” for a mere £179.

It’s not or never will be in my wardrobe. That’s the only redeeming feature.

It looks comortable, or rather it looks like it feels comfortable. It's not comfortable on the eye.

Stylist definitely gave up with the shoes, by the way her foots hanging off the back they're at least a size small and look awful.

It looks kind of like they were making a practice dress, ran out of the small spot fabric so used a different one and then thought 'by Jove' that could work.

It doesn't work.

I really like it. Angelica Bell wore it on The One Show a couple of weeks ago with white trainers and it looked lovely.

Actually in navy it isn’t as bad. Still wouldn’t, but not so CDeV.

looks like she ripped a bit so used a piece of her old dress in similar colours to patch it up lol
