Sometimes I see things that are so weird I really start to wonder if it’s them or me. Am I missing something here? John Lewis is trying to pass this off as “effortless summer style” for a mere £179.

Felt like I was going to have a seizure looking at that.

Must lie down in darkened room. 😭

I love that @dialmformmmm

Isn't it great that we are all different? I like to wear loose, unfitted clothing. Lagenlook stuff, Gudrun Sjoden etc. Bright colours, prints and lots of material. I don't think it's "vile" at all. And it works both ways. Try getting jeans on the high street over the last few years. Skinny, low rise etc being the most widely available style. I suspect I feel about them the way other people feel about the stuff linked on here.

@ShowOfHands amazing! 😀

I’m probably older than you @WinterAndRoughWeather, I love current fashion. I like clothes that skim the figure. “Flattering” seems to mean bodycon which is far from flattering on most people. I find it strange that 90% of MN reckon they’re a size 8/10 when the average British size is 16.

It's fine. As far as the trend for long shirt dresses go, its pretty inoffensive. Then again I didn't get the mass repugnance over the M&S dress. It's just a pink dress.

stealthbanana · 07/06/2020 15:47

I fear this is becoming a trend.

Saint and Sofia who relentlessly market to me on insta despite never buying anything from there recently posted a “classic trench with a twist”. It is horrendous.

It's a bit like when you hover over a bit of an image online and it's magnified. Perhaps they did that and thought 'that works'. It doesn't.

Most of these look like maternity clothes I'd definitely look pregnant in them

You'll stand out a mile , less likely for people to bump into you therefore less likely to get corona
