Are they as good as people say?

Are they comfy and easy to wear?

They are very flat and hard. If you don't need much support then they're fine.

Speminalium · 05/06/2020 17:38

Love mine. So comfy for my wide feet and really handy if I fancy a spontaneous paddle.

achillesratty · 05/06/2020 18:30

I tried them and sent them back. They are totally flat with no support and no padding on the insole. They looked like my school sandals circa mid 70's.

I am convinced Seasalt have "plants" on here to say how wonderful and stylish they are but I just didn't like them at all but I know lots of people rave about them.

Hydrobatespelagicus · 05/06/2020 18:34

I hated mine too. Very uncomfortable. Shame because I really liked the look of them, but if you want to actually walk in them, nope.

boredboredboredboredbored · 05/06/2020 18:36

I wore mine constantly whilst touring around Sri Lanka for 2 weeks earlier this year - could them very comfy.

Bioprepper · 05/06/2020 18:37

i ordered matching pairs for me and DD (10). She loves hers as she has flat narrow feet but my high arched wide feet really didnt like them. They are very hard and flat. Ended up selling mine on facebook.

KitNCaboodle · 05/06/2020 19:45

They’re comfortable enough for my wide feet but you couldn’t hike in them as there’s no cushioning.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 05/06/2020 19:48

I love mine and wore them round Disneyworld for 2 weeks with no discomfort. I have wide feet and find them a good fit.

Aworldofmyown · 05/06/2020 19:51

I love them. However they are no good for long walks.

Zinnia · 05/06/2020 20:32

I love mine (2 pairs, 5+ years old) and live in them on holiday. They are flat, but incredibly comfortable (I have wide feet too). I wouldn't go hiking in them but perfect for a day around town or on the beach. I'm definitely not a plant!

TheoneandObi · 05/06/2020 20:37

I live in cornwall and spend a lot of time in the water in the summer.
They are brilliant for stepping over stones and into the sea or rivers for swimming. I wear them whole swimming, or kayaking. They're fab. Don't even have to rinse them.
Love em!

Junobug · 05/06/2020 20:48

I love mine. Again, I couldn't walk up a mountain in them but I live near the coast so they are brilliant for walks along the beach and paddling and I can happily wear them out and about all day.

HelloDulling · 05/06/2020 20:50

I love mine, have three pairs. I couldn’t climb a mountain in them, but nor could I climb a mountain in any other pair of sandals that I own. An not sure what PPs mean by ‘support’, but they are v flat, v comfy sandals.

catsjammies · 05/06/2020 20:58

I really like mine. I have wide feet and they have never rubbed. The first time I wore them I walked about 4 miles and had zero issues (not sure that's ever happened, apart from trainers).
They don't have any support, but I spend a lot of time in bare feet so that doesn't bother me at all.

itbemay1 · 05/06/2020 21:00

I love them, have three pairs, best sandals I've ever owned! I've got big, wide feet though

bookish83 · 05/06/2020 21:08

I like mine but very wide, flat, and no support. I wear them for short distances Smile

I find Seasalt shoes more comfortable as they are buttery soft and more padded!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 05/06/2020 21:50

I have red ones and love the look of them, but find them really uncomfortable. I wore them on Monday and remembered how sore they make my feet after being out of the house for five minutes. I should sell them.

Pixie2015 · 05/06/2020 21:55

I’ve had 3 pairs different colours, they have lasted for years and I have walked miles in them - l love a fit flop too - if I was going on holiday in next few weeks I would have been ordering the rose gold ones about now!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 05/06/2020 21:56

I like mine but wouldn't walk the school run in them. Don't buy them direct though, they are utterly appalling for customer service. I ordered three pairs, two showed up. It took two months and public Facebook comments before they responded to me. I think schuh sells them.

mamaduckbone · 05/06/2020 22:07

I really like them. I didn't expect to as I have wide feet and usually live in Birkenstocks which do have arch support but I lived in mine last summer and found them really comfy.

Aisforharlot · 05/06/2020 22:13

Tried them on after all the hype, far too narrow for my wife feet and immediately cut in.

mealychump · 05/06/2020 22:16

I love mine. Love love love them.

I can wear them all day on holiday but I couldn't wear them all day for a day of really heavy walking. I can wear my Birkenstock's as long as any comfy trainer but the saltwaters are more like a pair of non supportive pumps.

Xiaoxiong · 05/06/2020 22:20

Achilles they're different companies, I adore Seasalt sandals and can wear them out of the box, soft leather, padded footbed. But when I tried Saltwater sandals they tore my feet up and the soles were too hard and inflexible.

DavetheCat2001 · 05/06/2020 22:58

Love my Saltwaters. Have a red and a tan pair. My feet are stupidly narrow and I find then really comfy.

MondeoFan · 05/06/2020 23:19

I have them in gold and bought my 2 daughters a pair each too in rose gold and silver. Find them really comfy, worn them everywhere tbh
They are stylish and comfy
