I'm really hoping she'll reconsider.

Today would have been the first day of Royal Ascot, so I hope you are all ready, with a jug of Pimms chilling, and a batch of scones ready to pop into the oven for afternoon tea.

Oh I'm so glad that you've kept this thread going, I was a lurker ( mainly because I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed royal fashion when I spent too much time on the internet last Summer when ill) and missed thanking the Queen of the Andals for her work here. I loved the photos of CP and Sofia's wedding, really liked the dress, it reminded me of my Mum's long sleeved wedding dress ( 1960). I like Charlene's top and lipstick, she has amazing arms, I think I read on here that she was a swimmer?

Yes, Charlene represented South Africa at the Commonwealth Games and at the 2000 Olympics, as she’d lived there since childhood though born in Bulawayo.

Kate had a custom made Elie Saab outfit (Top Lebanese designer showing at Paris Fashion Week and designer of many A-Listers red carpet dresses). It based on their Resort collection - a short sleeved top and skirt. Kate had long sleeves and cuffs added (her piece looks like a dress but it could be two separate pieces).

I'm not keen on that Elie Saab outfit I'm afraid. The fabric and the silver shoes make it look like evening-wear to me, even though the style is daywear. And I don't think that shade of pastel blue does her any favours.

Just doing my nightly NMR round-up and so can offer here Max in a very Max-esque top (that sleeve!), and CPM channeling the DoC in a Beulah dress.

Nearly forgot, Charles and Cam have been out and about for a hospital visit in Gloucestershire. I like the dress and it's nice to see her trusty tan shoes, but I'm venturing to say that she perhaps needs a Rigby & Peller consultation.

Kate looks great in both those Ascot looks! I really loved the blue look.

I rather appreciate the fact that Camilla is obviously coming out of lockdown like the rest of us - hair needs attention, and little crumpled at the seams and bemused with the way we need to keep away from people. Sort of blinking in to the sunlight!

I really like Kate's look on both of those Ascot occasions - and her response to Sophie's wobble!
