They're really light and a sort of yellowy colour. The listing stated it was brown henna.
Is there another that's darker that I can use?

Ffs. Doesn’t matter whether op is a goth or not. If she wants freckles she can bloody well have them.

So many people have fake eyelashes, nails etc, what’s wrong with fake freckles.

No advice I’m afraid @MaggyMaysBeenTakenAway other than ignore the rudeness

Hi, OP, how did you prep’ your henna? And was it body art quality? You could be getting a lighter shade than you wanted for a few reasons really - everything from it not being on long enough to your skin tone. I’m fair skinned and when I get the henna solution I’m using on my hair on my hands by accident, I have orange hands! You also need to let the dye molecules in the henna react slowly if you want a good deep colour, and mixing your henna with something acidic such as lemon juice then letting it stand for 12-24 hours will give you a better dye release. Do be careful in the sun if you’re using anything acidic on your face though. For now, you could try again with different henna if you have steady hands! FWIW I like the idea of a few fake freckles - you’d be like a porcelain doll. Smile

Ignore those who think its appropriate or their right to make digs at something that isn't their business based on their own prejudices OP. It doesn't reflect that well on then. Those who turn up just to say things like 'what are you twelve Hmm. The irony of who sounds twelve and a little like a school bully isn't lost on some of us.

Anyway, no idea about the Henna but i was chatting with my 14 year old niece about the trend, apparently it's all over tik tok and so on. She mentioned that peoppe use those semi permanent brow pens to dot them on and they last a few days that way. (The kind you put on, leave for a bit then wipe off). You could give that a go.

Fake freckles? I never knew...

Everyone I know with freckles hates them.

I have looooooads of freckles, but now that I am in my late 30s they look a bit more old and skin damaged rather than cute. Inspired by this thread I had a go at defining some on my cheeks and nose with some old brown tattoo brow (which is now useless as I only use black eyebrow stuff). They look great! Having more slightly defined freckles on top of all the connecting ones definitely makes me look younger. Thanks OP for the idea!
