Just saw Georgia Tennant in a pair of dungas on ‘Staged‘ that I thought looked rather L&Y. Checked and yup (although it’s a ‘no thank you’ from me).

@quantumdog sounds like a good plan though age is just a construct. I'm 62 and not ready for dressing like that either!

@toastfiend agree you should be the L&Y model - you do wear their stuff well.

That’s one thing I love about this thread - seeing how different people wear things & how different the same thing can look on different people.

@quantumdog I’m also in the process of an ongoing cull. After being really skinny (size 6) all my adult life I’ve been a 10/12 since having my DD a couple of years ago. I exercise regularly, I’m fit, I could eat better but I love my food. And most importantly I’m actually ok with my current size.
But I have a wardrobe of lovely size 6/8 things. I’ve gradually parted company with some of them but other things I’m hanging on to. Should probably bite the bullet & let them go.

Anyway. I’m going through my wardrobe and I will wear everything once and decide whether to keep or not.

Trainers - Next (keeping)
Jeans - New look (keeping)
Jumper - Ralph Lauren (via TK Maxx). I’m getting rid. It’s shrunk in the wash and gone boxy, has a small hole in the front & creases dreadfully.

I’m sorry to hear your DD is still so poorly @Sooverthemill - I hope she turns a corner soon.

It’s so dark and gloomy here today. And cold. I’m already considering changing into a thicker jumper.

@KiteflyingKat I'm similar I was 8/6 now 10/8 and it's hard isn't it? I've got rid of lots but I have kept some of my gorgeous corporate wear and I know I will never wear it but it reminds me of when I was a person with a job and a salary and a reason to wear suits. Ah well they are probably so out of date now. Anyone want?
Leather jackets: I find all saints too small across the shoulders. My favourite one when I ordered a gazillion to try on was Mint Velvet interims of cut, quality, feel but I felt black too harsh and no grey at that point. I have a Hush nude onyx which is fab ( and never yet worn outside cos of lockdown) and a lovely collarless one from Pure Collection which was a real surprise in term of quality, price and colours ( it's mid grey). I feel a bit old for biker chic and had my day as a groupie in jeans and black leather in the 80s ! I love @EllaPaella's all saints on her and always like seeing other people in them

Today it's raining but warm. Weird. Really wanted to put in white jeans but the digs came back disgusting after their early walk so no way, hence the navy

Looking forward to seeing your lolas @quantumdog! I think that’s why I went to All Saints in the first place, but in the end, the MV one was perfect. So long as the quality is there, I don’t mind.

I wasn’t brave enough for that print @Talisin. I did like the trousers version (mint green/baby pink) but once you know what the print is, you just can’t un see it

Ah, thank you @Ellapaella, @quantumdog, and @KiteflyingKat, that's really kind. Won't lie, I'd bloody love to do that, getting to try on all the new Yaks. Equally, I hate having my photo taken and become this immensely awkward human being with a rictus grin and panicked eyes, so it might not be the dream in reality! 😂

The Eastons look like they're sized to be baggy to me...although never having owned a pair I wouldn't really know. As @toastfiend said, they're cut quite differently and seem more masculine in their shape.

Got dog’d before I could take my pic but just a boring breton/jeans combo with boat shoes today so not missing much.

My sandals arrived! The non-adjustable straps are too big on my skinny feet - they don’t sit flush with my foot (I think they are supposed to?). I feel kinda self conscious with them being so high & chunky.

Oh that's a shame @happytobemrsg because they look awesome! I personally love the chunky clod hopper feel of mine and the fact they add a couple of inches to my height.
