Ooh thanks @toastfiend that's good to know - what's their sizing like? I'm a 10-12 - 10 in Boden, M&S; 12 in new look, etc. Would you say they come up on the smaller or larger side?

@TheOnlyMrsW the leopard print looks lovey doesn't it? Share a picture when it arrives (to persuade me in case I'm still dithering Grin)

@Softpebbles I can definitely recommend the hoodie and the colour, I'm so pleased with it. I think I got 20% off which is still waaaay more than I would usually spend on a hoodie, but my stylebook app tells me it's already down to £4.47 per wear and I only got it a few weeks ago Smile

PalacePaper · 04/06/2020 15:07

@Sooverthemill I hope the bloods give you some answers and hopefully a way to make DD more comfortable.
I'm pleased you're enjoying your lovely cardigan, I remember thinking how nice it was when you posted a pic a while ago Smile

Terralee · 04/06/2020 16:12

Just been for a walk & it's quite cold now.

Jacket from Primark
Hoody from Gap
Leggings from M&S
Top from Next
Adidas Superstars from Office

@PalacePaper I have it in grey so justifying another is a bit hard! X

OublietteBravo · 04/06/2020 17:25

A parcel from Boden arrived this afternoon. What do you all think of this jumpsuit?

OublietteBravo · 04/06/2020 17:25

(I wouldn’t wear it with the base layer underneath - it’s just cold here today)

itssquidstella · 04/06/2020 18:06

@OublietteBravo I like that grey shirt.

@Softpebbles your stripy T-shirt is cool!

@crazyspaniellady I'm tempted by some Ugg slippers as my Fatface ones are about to give up the ghost - are they worth it?

@quantumdog those striped jeans are fab! Lucy and Yak have some great stuff.

@KiteflyingKat great outfit :)

My Topshop dresses arrived! I'm keeping them both but I like the cream patterned one best.

Yes the grey one @itssquidstella like the jumpsuit @OublietteBravo
I definitely need to wear this dress more only slight problem is if I reach up then I might flash but I usually wear pants with decent coverage 😂
Dress QED London

TheOnlyMrsW · 04/06/2020 22:08

@itssquidstella I like both dresses but especially the one with the black background.
@OublietteBravo love the jumpsuit too.

OublietteBravo · 05/06/2020 08:18

The Alexas look fab @KiteflyingKat and @TheOnlyMrsW. I’m starting to think I might want some myself.

I like both dresses @itssquidstella. I think the first is my favourite (once I’d figured out that it didn’t have weird pointy shoulder pads - just a cushion in the background).

Still cool and overcast. I’ve defaulted to jeans and a jumper again.

Jumper: Warehouse
Jeans: Mint Velvet
Trainers: Jigsaw

itssquidstella · 05/06/2020 08:20

Haha @OublietteBravo I make no claims about my skills as a photographer.

It's cold again here; I've been wearing the same Sweaty Betty jumper with either jeans or yoga pants for about four days now - far too boring to post!

Shadeslayer · 05/06/2020 08:22

Hi everyone jumping on if you all don't mind.

I was on one of these threads last summer with some of you but had a family sickness/bereavement and looked like a bag lady for the last 8 months so I'm back and ready to dress like an actual person Grin

Shadeslayer · 05/06/2020 08:23

Oh and I changed my user name since

Sooverthemill · 05/06/2020 08:47

@shadeslayer welcome back! I'm sorry you've had a tough time. Hoping things are on a more even keel for you now.

@itssquidstella like both dresses
@OublietteBravo I think I like the jumpsuit but gah I'd like a photo without the top under it!
@Sickoffamilydrama that made me laugh! My girls would wear their pe shorts under their school dresses so they didn't flash their knickers! Takes me back

DD no better, I'm getting concerned now! Oh well, let's hope ...oh and the old dog threw up all over the kitchen today. He had the good grace to look sheepish.
It's a bit cool and rainy here so I'm in cropped wide leg chinos and I have a sweatshirt in case
Tee: old hush and just realised it creases badly as it's linen!
Chinos: old Boden maybe 3 years old?
Sandals: Topshop

Ellapaella · 05/06/2020 08:50

It's cold today 🥶🥶
Wearing my trusty Levi's and a jumper from Toast. Boring but cosy.

itssquidstella · 05/06/2020 09:01

It's a nice jumper, @EllaPaella. I was really hoping I'd be able to put my knitwear away for a few months, but no such luck yet!

crazyspaniellady · 05/06/2020 09:38

@EllaPaella I love mine, I live in them and I think a new pair will be requested at christmas as they’re past their best Grin DM has the costco equivalent and likes those, I think they’re half the price of the Ugg ones but I prefer these. I recommend sizing up though, but I always need to size up in Uggs.

Welcome @shadeslayer 👋🏼

I had a disaster yesterday involving a brand new “ball on a string” that we discovered doesn’t float and a very deep, very muddy small lake puddle, so my explorers are still drying out and the ball is still in the middle of the small lake puddle, so my dubarrys are getting a rare airing.

Top - Joules
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Dubarry

TheOnlyMrsW · 05/06/2020 09:44

Bizarrely sunny here at the moment but cold, so had to dig out woolly tights! Dress is from Ruby and Daisy, boots from Hush iirc inspired by @EllaPaella from an earlier thread!

Softpebbles · 05/06/2020 10:11

Has been raining and I am sure it will rain again but managed a dry dog walk! @crazyspaniellady sounds like an adventure!

Boring today. Hush jeans and a stripy all saints T-shirt.

Working from home and have a meeting. Finding motivation hard at the moment. 😊

happytobemrsg · 05/06/2020 10:30

Looking forward to seeing what you bought @TheOnlyMrsW!!

I love these under my dungarees:

And these

Lots of sizes out of stock but I’m sure the Only ones will come back later in the year. I have 5!

@quantumdog I love the Addisons on you. I have them but I do t reach for them because they don’t look quite right on me.

I’ve got so many lovely bits from Lucy & Yak / Run & Fly that I need to start wearing everything in rotation.

Quite enjoying the cooler weather

Today I’m wearing
Jumper: Only- it’s forest green but hard to see in pic
Trousers: Lucy & Yak (new!!)
Belt: Lucy & Yak

The Kias suit you @happytobemrsg. Smile

I've been a bit spendy this month. Lots of preloved Lucy & Yak packages arriving at my house! 🤦‍♀️🙈

Wearing old favourites today, though.

Dungarees - Lucy & Yak
Shirt - Never Fully Dressed

We're going to see my parents today for afternoon tea in the garden. First time we've seen them since lockdown began, so I'm really excited. It's cold here today, so will be wearing my DMs and a leather jacket to keep me warm when we go out.

happytobemrsg · 05/06/2020 12:28

I bought some olive cord originals on eBay @toastfiend in a small/32 & they are very snug. Wondering if a medium would fit me better?

OP posts:
toastfiend · 05/06/2020 12:41

@happytobemrsg I had a M32 in the berries (same batch as olives) and they were enormous on me, so I would think it would be the same for you. My teals (also same batch) are M32, though, but fit like a S30 as they've been washed too hot and shrunk at some stage. Perhaps the same has happened to your olives and they're now more like an XS?

toastfiend · 05/06/2020 12:42

The salsas I'm wearing today are S32. They're an old style with no elastane and different cord, so no shrinkage. I'd love for them to do more like these.

happytobemrsg · 05/06/2020 12:45

I hate all the sizing inconsistencies. It drives me crazy. I’d love a boiler suit but the small in the cord was enormous
