SOTD is MH Peau Santal. I seem to be loving MH at the moment. Maybe it's an Autumnal thing. 🍁🍂🍁

Chilly here. Blind bought Red Amber (Pascal Morabito) from TK Maxx. Not at all in Or Black's league, and decidedly masculine, but if you can forgive it that, it's quite an engaging peppery amber spiced up with some Dentyne-esque cinnamon. Warm but fresh and much better once the boy-racer top notes have worn off.

My 4160Tuesdays The Waft from the Loft arrived the other day. I’ve tried it a couple of times. To me, it’s a soft comfortable incense with an underlying sweetness. It’s enjoyable but not singing to me. I’m going to put it away until the weather’s colder and give it a chance to settle down. On the other hand, 4160 popped in a sample of Take Me To The River and it’s amazing and I love it! 💕 It’s been different every time I’ve worn it, but today it was a boozy liqueur chocolate left behind in a leather jacket.

No Waft for me yet...plumped for the extrait, which may have been a mistake as I was hoping for lots of churchy incense, but it sounds like that's more the EDP?

Ok I'm now officially intrigued by The Waft from the Loft. I love incense scents when the nights start to draw in. (I only wish the waft from my loft was sweet incense rather than the dead rat we had last winter....)

Sotd SJP Lovely, which I keep downstairs for hurried mornings.

Is anyone else finding themselves spraying more heavily now that we're not in close proximity with others? I'm usually quite "polite" with perfume, one or two sprays max. But if I'm working from home and only seeing people outdoors I feel I can go to town! It's one of the only benefits of this whole sorry situation - wafting through it in a scented cloud!

If dh doesn't like it make me an offer uno

Budge up on the scented bench, perfumistas! I have had a perfume hiatus but am stepping up my game now Is there a few of us also MIA or is it name changes? I am most confused.

It's nice to see everyone (whoever you are ) is still wafting around in clouds of lovely scent despite life being so fucked up generally. and and to everyone having struggles.

It's quite cheering to think it's nearly time for Autumn scents though. Looking forward to breaking out Mary Greenwell Fire especially.

SOTD is Chanel Beige. How I love this. The reason for my perfume mojo reappearing was lovely DH (how I love him too) giving me a set of weeny bottles of mini Exclusifs which I have been after trying for so long! Especially Coromandel, funnily enough I didn't like this on first try as it was too white toblerone which is of course delicious but I don't want to smell of it) but I gave it another try and now it is second favourite, tied with No 22 which I have been wearing to bed in a frivolously extravagant manner

I think we all need some frivolous frivolities at this time sulking that I can't wear lipstick under my mask and I bet you are too Judy . I'm enjoying it while I can as I know I will not be able to afford a full bottle! On that note has anyone bought anything exciting from the Perfume Parlour, I think they have reopened?

FLOOFY! so lovely to see you! And I am wearing lipstick under my mask! I generally wear matte lipstick anyway, so it tends to be fairly bomb-proof.

It's very autumnal here, so I wore Cristalle EDP today. Though warmer weather is coming back apparently .
I'm wearing lipstick too - Pillow Talk . It's matte enough not to come off too much. I would love to wear bright red like you @Judystilldreamsofhorses but it looks rotten on me. The closest I can get is Clinique chubby sticks Cherry.

i know ive been MIA ...again! still sorting stuff out after the fire, its 3 weeks tomorrow since it happened and stuff only just started happenign this week, starting with the loss adjuster who came out monday. its taken so many phonecalls and waiting on hold to get to the point we are at though, and they are estimating 6-8 weeks til completion once works start

I too love Chanel Beige but I haven’t even got as far as a sample, just some sprays at the airport and I can’t see myself doing that again any time soon. 😨 I haven’t bought anything from Perfume Parlour recently but do have an ever growing list of things to try from there.

unoeuf I love “overspraying” at home and when out and about walking. Yesterday it was Theo Fennell Scent, which is really not one to wear in public, for the first hour or so anyway. I love it and find it very, very comforting.

My SOTD was Mona Di Orio Musc. I bought this as a sample. It is a sweet powdery floral with musk. I do love it but it reminds me a little of 4160Tuesdays Tart’s Knicker Drawer. I need to try one on each arm.

SotD is Les Nuits d'Hadrien - a criminally under-rated soapy citrus amber. Have just picked up an insurance bottle on eBay as it has been discontinued as part of the oddness going down at Goutal.

Lipstick otD is Mac Chilli. Very wearable brick red (shame it lends a yellow hue to teeth...) .

Still no Waft....
