The ofqual consultation has been published today and it seems that A level students like ds1 have been basically thrown under a bus. I'm so angry. We are getting him a tutor for one subject as the provision from his college has been so bad!

Oh no where is the lockdown?
Eau Dynamisante arrived last night so I’m already spritzed. Trying to smell the patchouli but it eludes me. I think of what we used to call ‘grebs‘, biker/emo types wearing it in the 80s.I guess it’s there in the dried down scent but not strong.

I we have gcse results due on 20/8 so fingers are crossed. Such a rubbish situation.

Sweating already, showered in the gel moussante and covered in Eau Dynamisante. Haven’t had a bottle for a few months and it’s so perfect for me.

SOTD Tea Tonique. Lovely & refreshing in this heat.

Judy, if you know a supplier of Tauer Carillon pour un Ange, you might want to order it soon. Les Senteurs are out of stock so I asked Andy Tauer if it was discontinued. He said it was a limited edition so I still don’t know if it is going to be made any more. 🤷‍♀️ I have managed to find a bottle from a French supplier. It’s my own fault, I worked my way through two samples before deciding I needed a full bottle and almost left it too late!

My SOTD is Brocard Russian Princess. This is cranberry, black tea and woods and has a beautifully interesting drydown unlike many other woods-based perfumes.

It’s awful isn’t it? I’ve just had to come to my bedroom to lie in front of my tower fan. I had just cooked pasta like a fool and the boiling water pushed me over the edge. No perfume will rescue me! hot face not angry.
