Happy Sunday everyone...its blessedly cooler here today. No sotd yet as I'm still in my Pjs ☺

New dishwasher is in place - hurrah!
New debit card has arrived - yay!
New carpet being fitted on Wednesday

We still have to take up the crappy laminate in the room which will be great fun 🙃

The yoikes barbershop has been open today so all the menfolk have been "done"

3 loads of washing done, the dishes and a spot if hoovering

I plan on watching trashy TV for the rest of the day 😊

SOTD tea Tonique. Yesterday as well - sprayed the last few sprays in the bottle and had the great satisfaction of deboxing a new one I had stashed (TKMaxx cheapie).

We only had two hours of sun today, in the midst of a low slung, heavy, gloomy looking sky. But we did manage to have a barbeque which is our warm weather alternative to a roast ☺️

Hello lovely perfumistas, and sorry to have been absent for so long. I haven't been buying or wearing perfume (shocking I know) for the past few months as life has been so weird.

I just got back on the wagon with a purchase from the Les Senteurs sale -- Mona Di Orio Vetyver. It's lovely but I only really love it in the hottest weather, so let's hope our heat wave continues for a little longer. I have also had Midnight in the Palace Garden on today and it was as lovely and fragrant as I remembered.

My sister chose her wedding perfume after trying some of my samples and wore Annick Goutal Eau de Hadrien! It smelled gorgeous on her! (totally way more stunning than it ever did on me)

I had a bedtime spray of Tauer Vetiver Dance, and suddenly realised what it reminds me of - mum's Elnett hairspray from the 1980s!

Sotd is Chypre Siam with its Tom nan goon accord. Sort of fits in with this tropical weather.
Massive lightning storm here last night but there was very little noise.

I switched to my Mallorca cologne I bought from the market last year. It’s made with natural oils so I use it for spraying jumpers ( saw a moth today) and myself - lavender & cedar. It’s actually really lovely in the heat. 🥵⛈

Couldn’t agree more @yoikes. I am boiling having just made a stir fry. Thought I’d better attempt a meal as yesterday I declared I wasn’t going near the kitchen so it was every man and woman for themselves. I’ve just retreated from the shower and doused myself in 4711 cologne. Is that thunder I hear? I bloody hope so.
