I’ve been highlighted blonde for Years. I think I once had my hair a kind of henna red when I was maybe 17. I’ve recently box dyed dd’s hair with a mid golden brown, and it’s kind of come out a glossy gingery auburn colour. She’s much paler than me. I wonder whether it would suit my colouring or not or whether I’d massively regret it. What do you think?? Excuse haggard face

I've some relatives with natural fiery red hair and dark brown eyes

I was thinking rose gold type of thing, I think the other reds are too dark or too red. Where a pp posted a set of 3 pics the 3rd one I thought looked the best. Also, I thought maybe a change of style if you can't get colour right, and loved the quiff. Was the quiff in blonde - difficult to tell as I'm on phone and pic won't come up large. It looked a bit silvery? Probably needs a professional to do that so will mean waiting.

I wouldn’t OP. Not withstanding that you are very beautiful and will look lovely whatever you do, I also think your skin tone would be better suited to a darker colour, like a rich dark brown. I have colouring a lot like the Emma Stone pic and do think redheads always have fair skin otherwise it looks a bit jarring.

Well in case anyone’s still around, I did it. On a whim. Obv. I don’t hate It but it’s not quite what I thought it would be and yeah it’s made my face pink. Ah well inly a month to wait til the hairdressers can bleach it back again!

It's kind of neutral, not way better but not worse either...I've had that disappoinment before.
I tried to dye my hair blue last year came out black.
I think you'd really suit this type of blonde.

It's pretty good and easy to change, which a henna type red would not be.
