I’ve been highlighted blonde for Years. I think I once had my hair a kind of henna red when I was maybe 17. I’ve recently box dyed dd’s hair with a mid golden brown, and it’s kind of come out a glossy gingery auburn colour. She’s much paler than me. I wonder whether it would suit my colouring or not or whether I’d massively regret it. What do you think?? Excuse haggard face

I suspect it won't look like that on you.

I'd wait to get it done properly with a mix of different toned lowlights, far less harsh.

You don’t look haggard ! You are ridiculously good looking, so could get away with anything. I think you would suit most golden based reds, or a warm chocolatey colour with a lot of gold in.

I discovered today that Garner have a colour try on photo thingy, it was quite good fun

Bear in mind that red is fast fading and especially on pre lightened hair. You could try dying if a mid ash blonde then using something like this conditioner on it. You leave it on for up to an hour. Box dyes are not great for what you want. (My DD has just bought this conditioner for her dark blonde hair)

You're going to look gorgeous no matter which colour you choose, but given it will be a big change and that your hair is so heavily highlighted, I would definitely wait for the salons to open.

Yeah I can’t remember if that auburn was real or not!! In my mind I’ve been dying my hair since I was 12. But maybe I wasn’t??? Or this could be the henna ? I don’t have the benefit of a youthful glow now so 🤷🏼‍♀️

The cat would be furious. I don’t think he’s yet forgiven me for the glittery lush bath bomb incident. He looked glorious.
