Do you think I’d suit red/auburn hair?? Photo inc

I’ve been highlighted blonde for Years. I think I once had my hair a kind of henna red when I was maybe 17. I’ve recently box dyed dd’s hair with a mid golden brown, and it’s kind of come out a glossy gingery auburn colour. She’s much paler than me. I wonder whether it would suit my colouring or not or whether I’d massively regret it. What do you think?? Excuse haggard face

I think you could pull it off, but you do really suit the colour you already have. How hard will it be to get back to your current colour if you don't like the auburn?

Hi OP. I always thought there were 2 kinds of red hair. There are those who are pale, freckly and burn in any hint of sun. Then there's the ones who have a deep copper like red who can be much darker skinned (with fewer freckles) You look fab.

I like these reds.

Wasn't sure if the purple hair was you! You can probably carry off most colours.

I suspect you're a bit like me and get bored quite easily with your hair and want to try something new. Once I get an idea in my head I usually end up doing it, sometimes regretting it massively

Haha yeah I’m always getting bored and doing stupid things with it. Dh doesn’t get it at all. He particularly hated it when I had it almost shaved off apart from a huge whiff the rest of it was grade one. A shame. I quite liked it

Do you read your hair dye instructions carefully if you decide to proceed. I think most hair dyes say Remove cat from head before applying.

OP I absolutely love your look and you rock the piercing/ink! Gorgeous. I think auburn would look great. You could pretty much carry off any colour though I reckon!

I'd wait until you can get it done professionally though. It can be tricky to go from ash blonde to red.

I wouldn’t, I think your skin tone would suit a cooler colour. I don’t know if it’s even possible but maybe a hint of lilac? Post a photo of whatever you decide!

Ach life is short OP, go for it! Wearing it with confidence makes more of a difference than the actual thing you do I reckon. And update with pictures if you do! I'm invested in this

I think go for the red, if only to prevent damage to your natural hair and to give it a break from the bleach? I don’t think the ends of your hair are as full as they could be for example.

If you go with the red it would look best if you also darken your eyebrows a little.

Honey blonde would be better.
