Anyone used Boob or Bust? This can't be right surely???

Just measured my boobs using the Boob or Bust calculator and it tells me I am a 32H!!! How is this even possible? I'm currently wearing a 36F bra and it's a bit too snug under my boobs so how can I possibly be a 32H?

Mn has been pushing the 'small back, large cup' way of measuring boobs for at least a decade now. I came out as a 30 E or something crazy. Remember the band digging in to my flesh it was so tight. Felt awful and i think damaged the tissue there too. I've gone back to wearing a 34c or just sloggi pull-on bralets. Much better.

I just hate wearing a small back and it doesn't matter how big the cup size is, it's uncomfortable.

I'm so miserable about this. I ordered a shed load of bras that arrived today, all 30d based on the pictures I sent on this thread, and would you believe it - the 30d thst looked fine in the photo a few days ago now looks like the 30c did back then. All bulges under the arms and when I look at my back there is overhang by the strap. Really not a good look. Yet when I bend over my boob likes like you could fit two in one cup.

I did balcony, full cup, wired, non wired, plunge neckline, as many as I could think of and they've all go to go back. Even the one that looked fine the other day which now doesn't. I feel like a balloon that varies in a daily basis and am sick of it!

Honestly, I despair!

Me too @SkinSkin I don't know what to do. Just hoping one of the bravissimo ones fits. I'm seriously thinking of a boob job.

You don't need a boob job. You just need an in person fitting at bravissimo once they reopen. Honestly you can't beat it. I think online bra shopping online is pretty much pointless unless you're buying a bra that's identical to one you've already tried in a shop. I don't think I have ever successfully ordered a bra online apart from soft sleep bra type ones! They don't fit right and I send them all back. OTOH I've had fittings in bravissimo when the fitter has patiently got various styles suited to my shape until I found a fit I was happy with.

We sound like the same sort or size. I tweaked the bra fitting by literally 1inch and it came out with either 30d or 28e, so having been 34c for about 20 years I thought a higher band would be safer, especially SS marks and Spencer's came up at 32c, so 30d felt the safest compromise!

But the thing that gets me is how one that looked for just days ago now overhangs. Yet I weight the bloody same.

I can guarantee that if you are a size 12, you are not a 36. A 36 is quite broad. I wouldn't at all be surprised if you are a 32H. Most women are wearing bras that are way too big in the band and way too small in the cup. Try 34G if you are not convinced. It will fit pretty similarly. You should be wearing a brand new bra on the outer most hooks. As it stretches with time, move into the middle/tightest hooks. It should be firm but not so that when you breathe in you feel like you are being cut!

I feel like I need a wide wire to come far enough round towards my armpit cos my boobs are spread widely with a big gap in the middle but then a cup that size looks empty because there's not much breast tissue and it's mostly below the nipple. If I get a smaller cup, I need a bigger band and then it starts to move.

I went from a 34FF to a 32HH - the difference is amazing. No more mumsy shelf for me Grin. I should actually be a 30, but I couldn't handle the extreme change, and anyway, the range of bras would be miniscule. My DD's are 28E and 28G, but neither can get any bras in that size, so they have to size up to a 30 band, and down on the cups, which gives much more choice. Big tits, small backs, we all wore the wrong bras for years as there was no choice, thank goodness we now have a much better range.

Brands differ so much! I've ordered online and found huge differences in size. Which is like all retailers I suppose. Bravissimo is amazing for bra hunting.

The method itself is a great starting point. My boobs live their lives high and supported now! But it's much harder finding the right size and far more expensive. Cheap bikinis are also a thing of the past! I spend around £50+ now ☹️
