@PalacePaper I think they're good value - they're really thick and they wash well. They've got 20% off at the moment on yoga gear, so worth investigating!

toastfiend · 04/04/2020 17:43

Been a bit rubbish the last few days and not posted as been in my jodhs mainly. Spending lots of time at the yard as I find it so good for my mental health and anxiety.

So, my not v stylish outfit for the last few days! Mark todd jodhs with broken pockets and a busted zip, old Crossfit Games Reebok t-shirt from a few years ago, and my v stylish back protector because I'm bringing my just-turned 4 year old back into work after she had time off with an infection, and thought a back protector might be sensible!

I have changed today, though.

Boilersuit - Lucy & Yak Juni
Top - Tinyfibres

Featuring my hastily dyed, ill-advised pink hair, because I used to have it when I was 20 and thought it would be cool to go back to it whilst I have no work events... Turns out it's not as cool on me any more... 😂

happytobemrsg · 04/04/2020 17:56

I love the pink hair @toastfiend! I wish I could do that but my hair is so dark. I’m glad you’ve found something which helps with your anxiety- that’s half the battle

@PalacePaper I like those 2 shades together. Really nice. Everyone's outfits great.

So, the forecast is good though it's very windy here and I'm risking white jeans! Hoping dogs not muddy from walk. Im a bit of a hush advert I'm afraid

Tee: old hush
Jeans: hush Lennie straight
Sandals: Birkenstock
Sweatshirt: hush ( in case it isn't really that warm)

Very much counting the days until my L&Y order arrives.... not been shipped yet (being packed by the owners I think).

Lovely and sunny today. It feels good to be moving away from boots. Hopefully I have enough Spring clothes in my wardrobe...

Shirt: Gap (very old)
Base layer: Primark (hoping it’ll be warm enough to take this off later)
Jeans: Mint Velvet
Trainers: Jigsaw

Thanks @happytobemrsg! I used to have bright blonde hair so the pink dye took really well. I'm darker now, so it's not taken as well, but I re-did it this morning and it's no longer as patchy as it was!

Lucy & Yak Juni boilersuit again today. It's comfy and the sun is out here so I'm making the most of being able to wear lighter clothing, even if I'm not going any further than my own garden.

Looks brilliant @toastfiend! I recently went from blonde ombré back to an all over brown much closer to my original colour & I’m loving it. It’s nice & rich. It’s semi permanent but I’m only washing my hair once a week at the mo so I’m hoping it’ll last until this is over Grin

Hi I'm on a day off work really lounging today so

Cuffed trackie bottoms jersey black with grey stripe from Tesco
Slogan tshirt from New Look
Dark pink hoody from Superdry
Pale pink ugg style boots from Primark

I may smarten up later as got to get 2 different neighbours to witness my Will.

Terralee · 05/04/2020 12:55

I like @toastfiend 's boiler suit

PalacePaper · 05/04/2020 13:52

Hi everyone. Lovely to see some spring outfits Smile It's sunny here so I've gone spring-like as well, jeans from M&S and very old top from Joules. It takes a lot for me to have ankles showing, I hate being chilly!

I also love the hair @toastfiend I've developed an allergy to hair dye Sad so I now have my own 'natural highlights' - otherwise known as going grey Grin

Sickoffamilydrama · 05/04/2020 14:05

I'm going grey to @PalacePaper not because of an allergy just more I've always been low maintenance with get any kind of beauty treatments so if I dye it I know I'll end up with badger stripes were I haven't booked a regular appointment or not bought the dye. So I'm embracing the grey coming through there's not much at the moment.

I actually went for a run this morning and my lungs did alright.

Today I like the outfit but the trousers annoy me as they don't have much stretch so feel restrictive so if anyone has suggestions for a similar style but more comfortable it appreciate it.

T shirt Wallis
Trousers Next
and stylish sports socks must buy some slippers

This was my outfit today; we took advantage of the beautiful weather to go for a walk and I thought I may as well dress up for it!

The dress is from Hush :)

Lovely dress @itssquidstella, it looks great on you. Hope you enjoyed your walk in the sunshine Smile

itssquidstella · 05/04/2020 19:40

@PalacePaper thank you! Yes it was lovely, and not too busy either! Hope you've had a good day :)

Sooverthemill · 06/04/2020 08:39

@itssquidstella fab dress! Looks great
@dellacucina I love your jeans!
And all the spring like outfits great
I'm back in warmer clothes as it's not great here and rain is forecast. Wouldn't mind that heatwave they promised, it was actually quite cold yesterday here

Main job fir today is chasing the birthday present for DD I paid express delivery and that didn't arrive. Not even a 'sorry' email. It was her 21st yesterday and she wanted an electric guitar as it's easier to play lying down ( we hope). Her seventh birthday in bed in the dark.

Jumper: Baukjen
Tee just seen: Boden
Jeans: j crew
Trainers: air and grace

Love your dress @itssquidstella. Smile

I'm very pink today! 😂

Boilersuit - Lucy & Yak

I've worn Lucy & Yak every day of lockdown so far, I think? Shows what my "happy clothes" are.

itssquidstella · 06/04/2020 09:01

I'd never heard of Lucy and Yak before this thread, but I love their jumpsuits! I'm 5'11" - could I wear one or would it be camel toe central?

Ellapaella · 06/04/2020 09:16

@PalacePaper I'm loving that your nails are coordinated with your top. You look very groomed.
The sun is shining and it's reasonably warm so I'm going to spend the morning in the garden with the DC and the dog. I shall be wearing these dungarees from GAP with a stripey top from Tesco.
Hope everyone is keeping well.

Good morning everyone. I apologise for the dark photo - it’s gone back to being cloudy and overcast here and I still haven’t sorted out a better mirror.
