@OublietteBravo another one here who's been updating studies, yours looks loads brighter now, I really like the rug in the "before" picture too! @Sooverthemill I really like those new Gap jeans, the wide leg ones - Iook really comfy. @happytobemrsg I waso excited to see the email from Lucy & Yak, can't wait for my delivery GrinGrin

toastfiend · 28/04/2020 12:07

Really like the trousers @OublietteBravo!

I'm wearing the closest thing to pyjamas that's still clothes that I own. 😂 DH has had to go into work, so it's just me and DS today. Making WFH a bit challenging for me so I'm going to catch up this evening when DH is home and just enjoy the day with DS instead.

Top - ASOS, really old
Trousers - Lucy & Yak
Slippers - no idea, my best friend bought them for me many years ago and I absolutely love them. They're hideous but the comfiest things ever!

Day 1 of AF today & I'm feeling so crappy & low that only dungarees will do. They are fast becoming the clothes I want to wear when I need a pick me up. Can’t wait to get more exciting prints.

Jumper: Only
Dungarees: Lucy & Yak

Miserable weather here, cold and wet, so I'm back in winter clothes (which I prefer to summer clothes anyway really). I'm feeling envious of all the dungarees so I'm wearing my pinafore dress as it's the closest thing I've got 😂

Dress - Dorothy Perkins (it's teal cord but you can't really tell from the photo)
Top - Boden
Tights - fleece lined from Aldi

I'm also now wearing a big grey cardigan from new look. And I've put the heating on 🥶

@cravingthelook - Nice dress. I love dresses, l absolutely love them. Very much my work from home attire, and in the workplace too, come to that.

Terralee · 28/04/2020 16:30

Cold today!

Jeans from Dorothy Perkins
T-shirt from New Look
Cardi from Tesco

Then I put on my Nike AF 1s

@Judystilldreamsofhorses I almost wish you'd stop posting because I keep wanting your wardrobe! Off to look up Topshop T shirts now..
@PalacePaper love the pinafore dress.
Everyone looking lovely. I've been at work today but came home to find my sweaty Betty hoodie has arrived a la @itssquidstella and I love it. So so soft and cosy, I can see myself living in this on my days off now.

So I caved & bought some bits I’ve been eyeing up now L&Y are delivering again 🙈 dispatch is at least 2 weeks away so it’ll be something nice to look forward to 😊 I’m still waiting on my limited edition dungarees from L&Y (should be dispatched this week) & my fox dungarees from run & fly (though I’m unsure about the sizing of these). I tried on my striped L&Y jeans again with a few different tops & I'm liking them again!

@Ellapaella the hoodie looks great! I think that's the same one I bought from sweaty Betty (also inspired by @itssquidstella Smile) and I have worn mine pretty much every day since it arrived - I love it!

EllaPaella · 28/04/2020 22:05

Yes @PalacePaper I knew someone else had one but couldn't remember who. They are so soft aren't they? I can see me living in this from now on.

Softpebbles · 29/04/2020 07:31

Tempted by the hoody! Although I saw a nice grey zipped one from all saints that I liked. A zipped one is better for temperature control 🤯

itssquidstella · 29/04/2020 07:48

@EllaPaella and @PalacePaper I'm glad you both like the hoodie! I'm basically evangelical about how great it is; I wear mine constantly.

It's another cold, grey day here 😔 I'm wearing my new Hush jeans with a black All Saints vest top and a jumper from &other stories. The necklace is from Topshop, and the socks (which are so warm and comfy!) are from Anthropologie.

OublietteBravo · 29/04/2020 08:05

It’s grey and damp here too. I have several meetings, so I’ve gone for something more similar to my usual office wear (although I probably wouldn’t wear it with white trainers). I’m wondering if I’ll be warm enough...

I had a Boden parcel arrive yesterday, but I’ve hardly even glanced at the contents. I think I’ve lost my shopping mojo completely. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but will mean I’ll struggle if we have a hot summer.

Shirt: Boden
Belt: Mint Velvet (this was such a good buy - even though I paid full price for it)
Trousers: Gap
Trainers: Boden

itssquidstella · 29/04/2020 08:14

I really like that shirt, @OublietteBravo

Sooverthemill · 29/04/2020 08:49

Everyone's looking great. The sweaty Betty hoodie looks lovely

Raining again

Cardigan worn as top: Boden ( I used to always do this and then I forgot about it)
Jeans: gap
Trainers: jigsaw

Weather is grim here too! Just quickly walked the dog round the block before starting work. Hoping to get out for a longer walk or a cycle later.

I ordered some Birkenstock sandals from la redoute on the 11th April and they still haven’t arrived. Not even showing as despatched. I wouldn’t mind but they have taken the money!

happytobemrsg · 29/04/2020 10:04

Love the Sweaty Betty hoodie!

Another day of wanting to be comfy while I’m so bloated so wearing my dungarees again. Their cost per wear is looking pretty good 😂

Jumper: Only
Dungarees: Lucy & Yak
Headband: Oliver Bonas

@Softpebbles that's not great but their website says up to 21 days. I look from time to time as their flash sales are great aren't they?

happytobemrsg · 29/04/2020 10:53

I’m still waiting for some orders to be dispatched too @sooverthemill. It’s annoying.

OP posts:
PalacePaper · 29/04/2020 11:26

I've gone for cosy today - it's so cold! Jeans from M&S, top from boden and the same new look cardigan I put on yesterday. I've never really worn it much but I'm liking it. I've got a few things in my wardrobe that I like, but never really worked out how/when to wear - daft as that probably sounds. I think I'll make an effort to get things out and wear them and then have a clear out of the things that really don't work.

@OublietteBravo your shirt looks lovely, fab print.

@Sooverthemill that's a really good idea to wear a cardigan as a top and it looks really good! I shall try that with some of my neglected cardigans as part of my experimenting Smile

@itssquidstella I absolutely love your jumper. Is other stories knit wear good quality? I've seen a few pieces I like, I'm a sucker for knitwear!

Hoping to get out for a walk later, in which case I will wear my cherry red DMs (we didn't go yesterday as it was so wet, I definitely notice an impact on my well being if I don't go out)

onestepat · 29/04/2020 11:52

I love everyone's outfits.
Such a good thread.
I would add a pic of my outfit but I'm in my grinch pjs (seasonally appropriate Grin)

itssquidstella · 29/04/2020 11:56

@PalacePaper it's excellent quality; it's some sort of alpaca/wool blend and it's so soft but not at all itchy. However, I have to confess I haven't tried to wash it yet...it's handwash only and I just can't be bothered!

itssquidstella · 29/04/2020 11:56

I meant to say I like your cardigan, it looks really cosy!
