so, while rome burns I think I will fiddle with my beauty regime I am thinking long baths,, depilation, total exfoliation, body lotion, wearing a hair mask ALL DAY, doing nails, wearing face cream slathered on and letting it sink in then NO make up (poor old dh! he has no idea who he is really married to! ) for the first few days, then

wearing my very fancy pjs/ kaftans and big earrings

going through the cocktail cabinet and experimenting and generally wafting about in a haze of Tom Ford and gin?

anyone in?

My hair feels lovely after my hair mask today. I don’t think I’ve ever done one before.
I’m planning on a movie night with wine. I’m going to paint my toenails a nice bright red.
No joy on luxury pj search. I fell in love with a few from La Perla and then saw the price

I’m slathering on body moisturiser but also some steroid cream to elbows as my eczema has flared up. Hands are a bit sore from hand gelling at work so I’ve left a tube of hand cream beside each sink at home.

Yesterday I used a konjac sponge in my face to exfoliate, you can use it with or without product- it’s AAAAAMMMMAAAAZING!

just to make you laugh, I told dh about a bag that I was coveting a few weeks ago, he is very good at presents and spends more on me than I spend on myself iyswim? anyway, Saturday he gives me a parcel to open and says 'look I bought your christmas present already but I thought it might cheer you up to have it now' I open said parcel, inside is the bag, beautiful, exactly what I wanted blah blah, its only a Loewe straw summer bag! , and he was going to keep it for christmas! , I love that man but he really is a berk

@Ninkanink, I will try and make it my mission of the day to learn how to post pictures, will have to wait until dh gets home, then have the 'technology row' we always have when he shows me anything to do with my very basic laptop he has the paitence of a saint with anyone else but has zero with me

Heh! Tell him I’ve already awarded him 500 Great Husband points and if he manages to stay patient and avoid the technology row he’ll get another 500 which earns him a big fat !

Made exceptional effort to moisturise my legs this eve, after my bath....last night. I'm improving, yep, I know!

Sprayed on a leave in conditioner this morning too, so my hair had better cooperate over the next few days.

sorry sorry sorry, Dh has been have 'fucking tech arse twat' problems with his new home office set up, he has been stomping, swearing and growling at screens all day, when this settles down I will get him to show me what to do, I'm sure its easy but I think I need a lead and I really really don't want to go 'in there' ask for one.

today I have redone my nails and fished out dhs dumb bells, thats as far as my nod to exercise has got though

Things feel a bit crap here today, DH in a terrible mood with work (hospital doc), I’m trying to frantically find childcare and just feeling bleugh. Hands are all cracked and sore making alcohol gel a fun experience

I have however: moisturised from head to toe, did my make up nicely even though it’s my day off, went for a long walk with DD.

How’s everyone else getting on? @SpokeTooSoon I can’t relate to the root touch up situation however I do need to have my eyebrows done every 2 weeks. Not looking forward to those bad boys being untamed.

I think I'm going to have to try and cut my hair (appointment was this week). Any tips??

this is my new bag!

get me! I have been taught to down load music and all the pictures from my phone, with good grace and a laugh, my god dh is bored!

I have also started a list of things I would like to buy in the near future, I have discovered Free People, very nice stuff at a good range of prices, also Wolf and Badger, cant wait to vist that shop!

I am doing regular retinol seeing as I wont be getting sun exposure and no one will see purging and peeling. I'm also trying the oil cleansing method.

Otherwise I am trying to keep up with routine maintenance. I dyed my eyebrows and eyelashes today.
I also need to use up my giant stash of random toiletries.
