Now that the Commonwealth event is nearly over, we have another treat ahead of us. Maxima in Indonesia!

In light of what happened on the previous thread, I'm going to take a leaf out of Elizabeth SMT Holmes' book and say critique the clothes and the styling but not the physical appearances of various royal women.

For various reasons I ended up on Stuff Dutch People Like today and found this post featuring Wax stuffdutchpeoplelike.com/2012/02/20/picking-their-noses/

mrscampbellblackagain · 10/04/2020 14:03

That is the best thing I have ever read on here @QueenOfTheAndals!!

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 10/04/2020 15:07

banivani I don’t want to eat my sandwich anymore after reading that. Nasty nasty. Even Max isn’t impressed.

Handy Andy - "I am useful, I am!"

Looks less like a prince and disturbingly like my old Dads mate there.

Weird.

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/04/2020 20:14

Does anyone know why Joan Rivers was at C&C's wedding??

paradyning · 10/04/2020 20:23

She was a pal of Charles I think

Yes, Joan Rivers and Prince Charles were good friends.

I know this is a fashion thread but what is the situation with Sarah and Andrew please?

AppleKatie · 11/04/2020 08:17

They live together but are allegedly just friends and co-parents.

The fact that both their children have been old enough to be entirely independent adults for years has escaped them both. (See Christmas cards from the four of them +son in law).

titsbumfannythelot · 11/04/2020 08:27

I loved both Camilla's wedding outfits.

I also though Sarah was a stunning bride, you could see how happy she was to be getting married. I think she still holds a candle for him.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/04/2020 09:16

Glad I wasn't the only one to find that card odd @AppleKatie.

Grin nope!

Heygirlheyboy · 11/04/2020 10:05

If this was the first time they'd done it since their daughters were children, perhaps not odd at all.... call me cynical Wink

Royal engagement photos over the years

Anne's is surprisingly romantic, like the cover of a Barbara Cartland novel!

Gosh, what a dish Philip was!

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/04/2020 11:38

He certainly had matinee idol looks that none of his children inherited!

Princess Margaret was so striking. I love that dress - looks so well cut.

Rhubarbisevil · 11/04/2020 11:48

I found the Queen wearing this. Inspo for Kate, do you think?

Royal style: Max and Wax and whacky hats
AdaColeman · 11/04/2020 12:11

Yes Margaret was stunningly lovely, the Cecil Beaton photo of her in her Dior dress for her 21st birthday is the ultimate Princess image.
I met her in the mid 1980s, and she was still lovely then.

QueenOfTheAndals · 11/04/2020 12:50

Shame Tony turned out to be a bit of a shit.
