I bought this coat... The colour is more vibrant than the full length pics show (my 10yr old was the photographer). Slightly concerned my youngest thought it was a dressing gown...

I agree about the belt - it does look like a dressing gown when that's tied.

DearTeddyRobinson · 15/02/2020 19:49

Sorry, looks like you're wearing your dads dressing gown.. I think something more tailored would suit you better.

Krazynights34 · 15/02/2020 19:52

I like it...but I love your hair even more!

LaCerbiatta · 15/02/2020 19:53

The colour couldn't be worse on you, you're cool toned, probably a winter, and the coat is warm toned.

FakeFraudSquad · 15/02/2020 19:56

I think the colour is nice on you but the style isn’t. It totally drowns you and the style doesn’t do anything for you. I agree that you’d suit tailored clothes better than this.

Reginabambina · 15/02/2020 20:01

Don’t buy oversized unless you are very tall and thin. I love oversized clothes but can’t wear them without looking teeeible.

Lauren83 · 15/02/2020 20:03

I like it, prefer it without the belt tied though

MarshaBradyo · 15/02/2020 20:03

Not keen on it, esp when tied - too much bunching of fabric around the middle

peachypetite · 15/02/2020 20:03

Awful. It looks too big and the colour is drab.

EmmaC78 · 15/02/2020 20:04

Send it back.

TheReef · 15/02/2020 20:05

I'd say its the same as the dress, just seems to drown you. You look fairly petite and the dress and coat look about 4 sizes to big for you

lilgreen · 15/02/2020 20:06

I love it.

Greenpop21 · 15/02/2020 20:08

Looks great. I prefer it belted. You wear it well.

ageingdisgracefully · 15/02/2020 20:11

I love it. I'm a fan of oversized coats.

Ofthread · 15/02/2020 20:13

It's a really difficult style of coat to get right, I'm also looking for a coat like this. The lapels are quite wide on it, though the colour looks good on you.

Iamthewombat · 15/02/2020 20:13

No. Wrong colour, too big, collar poorly finished, agree that it looks like a dressing gown when belted. Just no.

Runkle · 15/02/2020 20:15

Sorry but it doesn't do anything for you.

peachgreen · 15/02/2020 20:19

It's too long - makes it look like a kid's dressing up coat rather than an oversized coat! I think you could do way better.

FloresTorres · 15/02/2020 20:36

You could do better than this, it looks awful/

ironicname · 15/02/2020 21:39

Far too big for you

cakeandchampagne · 15/02/2020 21:57

The coat looks too big on you
and -wow!- your hair is great!

Twillow · 15/02/2020 22:01

It looks soooo cozy. But yes to the dressing-gown with the belt done up. My kids always say things like this to things I love too Sad

FlorenceLyons · 15/02/2020 22:05

I love the colour. I like the way it looks open, but not belted - though agree with others that it looks too oversized.

NiteFlights · 15/02/2020 22:22

It’s really awful, OP, both the style and the colour - it looks much too big and poor quality. Agree with PP that your hair is excellent though.

SandAndSea · 15/02/2020 22:44

It really looks like a dressing gown in that last pic.
