Inspired by 'Beauty products you regret . . . ' let's share beauty products you love!

Clinique 7 Day Scrub - inexpensive, smooths dry skin on my face, make up always sits better after I have used it, always use in the shower otherwise fine granules end up in my hair

Mac Studio Fix Foundation - used it for years, great coverage, tried others but always come back to this

Aveeno - the only cream that sorts out my eczema

Clean & Clear face wash - the only thing that keeps my spot prone skin under control

Ouai hair oil I love how it makes my hair shine, my browzings benefit eyebrow kit couldn’t be without them!

percheron67 · 13/02/2020 16:57

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream. Can be used for so many things. Years ago I read that no supermodel travels without it - I have to confess that I rushed out and bought one!

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2020 18:06

Lanolin for lips. Only thing that works for me.
Superdrug 10 min fake tan. Slap tan on, leave for up to one hour, rinse off. Wake up brown.
Vit c powder mixed in night cream/body lotion.
Spf 50 sun block.
Superdrug Argan oil pre-shampoo
Superdrug castor oil leave in conditioner.

I really ought to buy shares in Superdrug.....

jellycatspyjamas · 13/02/2020 20:23

Emma Hardie moringa cleansing balm - so nice on your skin.

My DH bought me a set of Espa bath oils which are also fab.

AFistfulofDolores1 · 13/02/2020 20:26

damnthatanxiety · 13/02/2020 20:30

percheron67 please enlighten me as to what 8 hour cream can be used for. All I can think is cuticles. It is so chemical smelling, I can't imagine it on lips and it seems too petroleum jelly like to use on my hands or face. What do people use it for?

SomeLikeItTepid · 13/02/2020 20:30

Ooooh, following this thread.... I love a good beauty find.

MadamShazam · 13/02/2020 20:30

The Body Shop Chamomile cleansing balm feels lovely used with a warm cloth at the end of the day. Also can't do without a massive tub of Nivea Soft, I use it on my body and face and my skin has never looked better 👍

dudsville · 13/02/2020 20:35

I have dry frizzy straw like hair, that it's until I used
Elasticizer extreme
Followed by
Aveda dry remedy shampoo and conditioner
Followed by
The ordinary hair oil.
My hair feels and looks so healthy, it's flexible, shiny, no tangles or brittleness, hurrah!

KC8LL · 13/02/2020 20:40

Urban decay microblading pencil! Amazing stays on for several days and it waterproof! The pencil lasts me 4 months and I do my eyebrows up to twice every day

Bananaman123 · 13/02/2020 20:44

Yy to dermalogica microfoliant.

Fanola purple shampoo is peerless.

Charlotte Tilbury got a lot of bad press on the other thread but the flawless filter is my holy grail product.

ironicname · 13/02/2020 21:16

Aurelia cleansing cream, it's very expensive, but lasts a year. It smells as if you're in a spa and does a super job of removing make up etc.

percheron67 · 13/02/2020 21:21

damnthatanxiety. Hello. It definitely has got an odd smell.! More herbal than floral. I think. It is very useful for use with eczema, cuticles, lip gloss (hold nose if preferred!) sunburn, and chapped skin. I also use, sometimes, on elbows and knees. More since Baby Bottom Butter has disappeared. Hope this helps.

Honeybee85 · 13/02/2020 21:22

Crabtree & Evelyn handcream: such lovely smells and package plus very moisturizing

Bottega Veneta perfumes: love their scents, very classy, luxury and unusual

Rock & Ruddle hairbrush: my hair is dry and frizzy and this brush tames it

MAC Lust lipglass: MLBB gloss since I first discovered it 16 years ago

Dante Nesti soap: just love luxury Italian soaps

Kiehls Ultra Facial Moisturizer: does a great job!

QuantumEntanglement · 14/02/2020 00:07

Eucerin moisturizer spf 30 - around $12 but works far better on my skin than a gazillion high end moisturizers I’ve spent hundreds on, tried a few times and thrown out because they make me break out or just plain do nothing.

The Ordinary Buffet serum - cheap as chips and far more effective than many much more expensive serums

Maybelline Great Lash mascara - never found another I like as much.

Hourglass Ghost Edit Ambient Lighting palette - spendy but so worth it, the colours are gorgeous and it’ll last me ages.

YSL Touché Eclat All In One Glow tinted moisturizer - I was given a generous sample by a sales assistant when I bought some perfume. I went back and bought the full size a week later. Again it’s spendy but It’s amazing, the tube lasts for ages, it gives a beautiful medium coverage which doesn’t cake, flake or budge for hours, makes my skin look fresh, and hydrated all day so it’s replaced every other foundation I had.

L’Oreal True Match concealer - it’s just brilliant.

Pieceofpurplesky · 14/02/2020 00:17

Sudocrem
Charlotte Tilbury mascara (the best I ever used - it was free and will never be able to afford another)

Parkmama · 14/02/2020 00:25

I would also add Clinique city block spf 25 or 50 - it's slightly tinted so in summer if my skin is clear enough I don't need to wear foundation over the top

And telescopic maybelline mascara - always come back to this

Footner!! The dry skin peeling gel socks - they work so well. Have tried cheaper versions - you get what you pay for
