Inspired by 'Beauty products you regret . . . ' let's share beauty products you love!

Clinique 7 Day Scrub - inexpensive, smooths dry skin on my face, make up always sits better after I have used it, always use in the shower otherwise fine granules end up in my hair

Mac Studio Fix Foundation - used it for years, great coverage, tried others but always come back to this

Aveeno - the only cream that sorts out my eczema

Clean & Clear face wash - the only thing that keeps my spot prone skin under control

@HundredMilesAnHour totally with you about Haeckels! I use the exfoliating soap too, and the tomato face oil, both lovely. And Mac studio fix - easy and smooth coverage, without having any heavy feeling of foundation.

DidgeDoolittle · 15/02/2020 13:33

Nuxe Rev de miel lip balm in glass pot. The only balm that stops the corners of my mouth splitting.

CND Solar oil for nails and cuticles. Stops my very dry nails from snappping and peeling.

Moroccan oil light. Just brilliant for dry hair.

Savon de Marseille soaps. Get these when in France or off eBay. Smell lovely, last ages in shower and mean I no longer need body lotion on dry legs every 5 minutes.

Superdrug naturally radiant range. Does what it says on the tin and is as cheap as chips.

Cerave lotion for dry and very dry skin. Use as a body lotion, moisturiser and hand cream.

Chanel lipsticks. Lovely colours and good texture.

Primark mascara.

Mac eyeliner in Teddy.

Mac paintpot in groundwork.

OPI nail varnish in Malaga Wine for toes.

Elmer hairspray.

DidgeDoolittle · 15/02/2020 13:35

Elmer hairspray would be interesting, but sadly it's only Elnett

ChequerBoard · 15/02/2020 14:14
  • Skinceuticals Phyto/corrective serum and anti-redness solution has totally improved my skin
  • Hourglass ambient powders and foundation
  • Nars sheer glow foundation and dolce vita lipstick
  • Daniel Sandler watercolour blusher, natural looking long lasting, amazing
  • Davines hair products - smell fantastic and leave hair touchable soft and shiny whilst holding a style
  • REN or Laura Mercier bath products
  • Sol de Janeiro Brazilian shower gels and body cream
HundredMilesAnHour · 15/02/2020 15:48

@DiscoJanet so lovely to find a fellow Haeckels lover! Such a fab company. Their products are amazing. I really want to try their community sauna on Margate beach but I think the sea is far too cold for my wimpy self to swim in right now.

HasaDigaEebowai · 15/02/2020 15:52

Liquid gold. It is amazing on my skin.

ImNotShpanishImEgyptshun · 15/02/2020 16:09

Lush Fresh Farmacy soap for faces. Absolutely amazing for rosacea. I can get away with just BB cream instead of foundation.

Marc Jacobs mascara. I use it everyday, also for evenings out. Water resistant but not impossible to get off.

Burt's bees tinted lip balm. Lipstick dries my lips and never stays on, but reapplying this is a good thing!

Urban decay eyeshadow primer in Eden.

Nogoodwithgoodbyes · 15/02/2020 16:41

@HasaDigaEebowai

I have just bought the Alpha H liquid gold. So, you find it good?

I bought the Hyaluronic 8 too and used it for the first time this morning. I was surprised that my face actually felt quite dry and tight after using it.

Feelingfestivenow · 15/02/2020 16:44

Perfect whip face wash by Shiseido, buy it cheap as chips when travelling along with DHC oil and Sekkisei Emulsion and Cure Natural Aqua Gel, but looks awful when you see what comes off my face and dry skin

Nuxe dry oil couple drops mixed either nivea/astral/Aldi day cream and oil for the rest of my body, now given up after 30+ years of using Clarins and been sucked into the claims of how good it is.....

I know I bang on about Revolution quite a lot, but their eyeshadows are magic, I use neither primer or setting spray but I can apply eyeshadow, go to work in a hot kitchen, splash my face with cold water and I'll still have decent looking eyeshdow about nine hours later. Their highlighters are pretty amazing too.

MUA highlighters. John Maclean recommended them in one of his videos, which made me happy. Grin

Revlon lipsticks, I just love them.

NYX lipglosses. Theirs are just nice, shiny, pigmented, smell nice and are not sticky, result!
