Inspired by 'Beauty products you regret . . . ' let's share beauty products you love!

Clinique 7 Day Scrub - inexpensive, smooths dry skin on my face, make up always sits better after I have used it, always use in the shower otherwise fine granules end up in my hair

Mac Studio Fix Foundation - used it for years, great coverage, tried others but always come back to this

Aveeno - the only cream that sorts out my eczema

Clean & Clear face wash - the only thing that keeps my spot prone skin under control

LUSH the good times role exfoliator - love it for my face, really smoothing.

Keihls ultra balm moisturiser - never found a night cream better.

Laura mercier primers - both hydrating and bronze radiance are fab!!!!!!

@KC8LL Sorry if I'm mis-understanding - if the microblading pencil application lasts for a few days, why would you have to do your brows twice a day? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

  • Alpha H Liquid Gold
  • The Ordinary Glycolic Toner (works better than the Pixi Tonic I was using and it's cheaper)
  • Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream (great alternative to Clinique Moisture Surge)
  • Sukin Hydrating Mist
  • Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation (going to be discontinued Sad )
  • CT Bond Girl Lipstick
  • Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick
  • Estee Laude Bronze Goddess Medium Bronzer
  • Tigi Bed Head Headrush Shine Spray

@nogoodwithgoodbyes Yes I love liquid gold. It makes a massive difference to my skin (plus I like the fact that it actually feels like its doing something).

I also love nuxe gold body oil. It smells amazing and makes my legs and arms look far better plus I use a little bit in the ends of my hair.

HaHaVeryBunny · 16/02/2020 12:39

Adding to my earlier list.
Maybeline SuperStay Matte Lip Ink. Really does last all day.

Also The Maybeline double ended brow pencil is great too if you have very blonde brows, no orangery undertones at all.

For reference, I have dry skin from top to toe.

  • Nars Sheer Glow foundation
  • Becca Backlighting primer
  • Tati Beauty eyeshadow palette
  • BH Cosmetics Desert Oasis eye shadow palette
  • Glossier gel blush
  • René Furterer hair products
  • Oribe texturising spray
  • Armani Privé and Aerin perfumes
  • Tree Hut body scrubs
  • Essie nail polishes
  • Seche Vite base and top coat
  • CCS foot cream
  • Nivea creme (in the blue tin) for hands

Korres Fig shower cream and body lotion, Aveeno body lotion, Viviscal volumising shampoo and conditioner, Avon gel eyeliner pencil , shade steel, lovely French soaps from TK Maxx.

Deathraystare · 18/02/2020 12:47

Korres Fig shower cream

I have watered down the dregs and desperate to repurchase!!!! Gorgeous smell!

WellTidy · 18/02/2020 15:38

I absolutely love Korres fig shower gel and body lotion too. I love all things figgy but it is my favourite figgy of them all. I buy lots of fig candles but the Diptyque Figuier one is just to die for. Really pricey, but OMG I love it.

DHC cleansing oil - easily removes sunscreen and makeup and excellent for gently rubbing off the odd little peely bit from the tret, a bottle lasts ages.

Dr Hauschka clarifying day oil - I tend to use this mostly in the week before I come on, when my skin gets oilier. 2 drops of this warmed between my hands and pressed into my skin and it somehow reduces the oiliness and softens my skin.

Pixi eye pencil in sage gold. Subtle colour that suits my blue-grey eyes really nicely.

Aldi lacura miracle cream (EA 8 hr dupe) - it's doing wonders for my nails, smells a lot better than the EA, handy for emergency lip balm and only costs a couple of pounds.

Kerastase elixir ultime l'huile rose - smells lovely, makes my peri-meno crap hair significantly less crap looking.

Dermatica - tretinoin, best thing I've ever done for my skin.

Avene tolerance extreme moisturisers. I use the emulsion in the daytime and the thicker cream at night after my tretinoin. So many other moisturisers give me a million closed comedones or turn my face into an oil slick. These both work well for me, and are fairly cheap.

The skinnydip peach shower gel and body scrub that I picked up in boots the other day that smells really close to the body shop fuzzy peach stuff that I used to love as a teenager. Makes me and my bathroom smell amazing in the mornings. Grin

Also timeless vitamin c, e, ferulic serum, La Roche Posay cicaplast baume b5, hada labo hyaluronic light lotion, and aquaphor are things I'll always buy because they work really well for me.
