But I really love this photo of her with a more natural look, she's so joyful. It's how I imagine she looks off duty.

mistermagpie Yes, that's nice.

beanaseireann · 29/02/2020 13:45

I love Leti's silk satin top.
Anyone know where I could get one similar please?

paradyning · 29/02/2020 14:04

Thought that was posh spice. Not CPV!

RomaineCalm · 29/02/2020 14:05

mistermagpie There were some great pictures of Kate from that sailing event - really happy and relaxed. I honestly think she should have got her shorts out again for the athletics thingy this week, they would have been a vast improvement on those green culottes.

And yes, I could imagine Kate in that satin dress, I think it would suit her.

mistermagpie · 29/02/2020 14:12

I agree. And let's face it, she certainly has the legs for shorts!

Latest portrait of the ridiculously photogenic Bhutanese royals, who have another baby on the way.

Seriously, her skin! It was the same in Parasite, Asian women have amazing skin!

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/02/2020 19:31

She's also only in her twenties @Heygirlheyboy so that must help!

Ha, true!

QueenOfTheAndals · 29/02/2020 23:32

Some vintage Diana - the Testino shoot.

pallisers · 29/02/2020 23:48

when was that shoot? She is luminous.

Heygirlheyboy · 29/02/2020 23:50

1997..... Sad

Horsemad · 01/03/2020 08:21

She looks amazing in those photos.

keiratwiceknightly · 01/03/2020 08:52

Gorgeous pics. But she doesn't quite look like herself in some of them, does she? Arrestingly beautiful, fantastic skin and hair etc, but quite different to how we usually saw her.

beanaseireann · 01/03/2020 09:59

I agree with you keiratwiceknightly, amazing photos but she doesn't look like herself in some of them.
It sounds daft but I kniw exactly what you mean.
She's certainly well ahead of the trend with the dark eyebrows in the first photo.
Having said that, wasn't Margaux Hemingway famous for her dark eyebrows back in the day.
But they looked more natural, unlike some of the slug like or sharpie coloured in eyebrows we see today.

drina27 · 01/03/2020 12:48

The Testino pics look amazing. She was beautiful - more beautiful than either of the women who would have been her daughters in law.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 01/03/2020 13:59

Mind you, if you can't look good with Testino as the photographer when would you? Diana had quite a large nose (which is evident in those pics) but he's nevertheless managed to make her look gorgeous. I particularly like the one penultimate one (where she's wearing the black strapless evening frock).

derxa · 01/03/2020 16:05

.

Horsemad · 01/03/2020 18:11

I think she just looks genuinely happy/relaxed in them. He seems to have captured something, I don't know - some essence of the freedom she felt after the divorce

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/03/2020 19:09

The original article that went with the photos. Sad to think she was dead within two months of them being published.

I still remember hearing about her death - think it’s one of things that you don’t forget where you were. Such a waste.

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 01/03/2020 20:23

I personally don’t think she is more beautiful than either Meghan or Kate, both are stunning in their own right. However, Diana had the X factor, she wasn’t perfect but she lit up a room and knew how to make all eyes in the room turn to her. That is what the difference between superstars and just stars.

QueenOfTheAndals · 01/03/2020 20:57

Yes she had an undefinable something about her right from the start.

derxa · 01/03/2020 21:47

I loved Diana. I know it's not fashionable on here but she was utterly fab despite being a bit of a diva
