Miserable weather continues here, so M&S jeans and jumper and Moda in Pelle boots. I’m really for spring in more ways than one!

@OublietteBravo great jumper!! Can I ask whether you’re washing it between wears? That’s why I don’t even try and wear the same thing every day!

OublietteBravo · 28/02/2020 16:05

@ememem84 - I haven’t been washing the jumper, but I’ve always had a layer on underneath it. I did however wash the dress and the trousers when I was wearing them for a week (I wore them for 2 days and then washed them). No one has complained that I smell!

FuckingHateRats · 28/02/2020 16:30

OublietteBravo I LOVE the green trousers. Excellent wardrobe item.

I've dropped my face out because it's 4.30pm, been on the go all day and my hair is a riot.

Comfort was key today. Also Friday so quite a casual vibe.

Boots: OFFICE
Jeans: ASOS
Blouse: Zara
Jumper: H&M
ASOS twisted gold hoops.

I'm off to eBay to look for some brighter clothes. This thread has made me realise how drab my colour palette is.

@FuckingHateRats if you still wanted a Lucy & Yak boilersuit, they've been reduced to £40 from £68 in the sale today. Smile

FuckingHateRats · 28/02/2020 18:31

I've seen! And it's payday Grin

FuckingHateRats · 28/02/2020 18:31

I'm just trying to work out sizing.

ememem84 · 28/02/2020 18:47

I have green trousers. Love them!!!!

happytobemrsg · 28/02/2020 21:13

This is my favourite jumper outfit so far @OublietteBravo! You look great!!

Thinking of ordering myself a jumpsuit @toastfiend since they messed up my delivery & kindly gave me a discount code. I’m also trying to work out sizing! I’m a size 10 with a v small waist. Don’t really want it too oversized. Do you recommend a small or extra small?

PalacePaper · 29/02/2020 08:54

Out for the day with friends so wearing my new dress from M&S Smile

I'm going to wear Chelsea boots - I tried DMs as I love long dresses with DMs on others but it just didn't look right on me. I'm a bit stuck for which coat though - I think I'm going to go for a leather jacket with layers underneath and hope it's not too cold! 🥶

Seeking opinions on the enormous cosy jumper and skirt I got on sale. You can see the top of my rights, oops.

(considering returning them)

happytobemrsg · 29/02/2020 10:13

I really like the skirt on you @dellacucina. Not sure on the jumper. It swamps you a bit

FuckingHateRats · 29/02/2020 10:32

I like the skirt but don't know about the colour of the jumper. I'm not sure it does much for you. Am generally a fan of an oversized jumper, might be better in a darker colour?

toastfiend · 29/02/2020 10:38

@happytobemrsg and @FuckingHateRats they're designed to be oversized. I'm a 10-12 and wear a medium in the corduroy boilersuits and a small in the twill. I find the corduroy is a softer material and doesn't flatter me in the smaller size as it clings a bit to my Mum tum, whereas the twill has a different feel and stiffer fabric and doesn't seem to do so. I also find the small in the corduroy a bit "crotch-y", as I'm quite long in the body. The medium is a very slouchy, oversized fit, though. Ideally I'd have one in between the small and the medium! 😂

toastfiend · 29/02/2020 10:41

No attempt at style for me today. In my riding gear as off for a hack with a friend, followed by a long walk with the dogs! Happy Saturday, everyone. 😊

Giveusthesummer · 29/02/2020 10:46

@dellacucina could you post photos of the skirt and jumper not worn together?

I tend to wear oversized jumpers with skinny jeans, or leggings and baggy bottoms with tighter tops. I think worn together the outfit does drown you a little.

dellacucina · 29/02/2020 10:47

This is what I'm wearing today. Very unexciting. 10 year old H&M skirt, new Boden jumper, Docs

FuckingHateRats · 29/02/2020 10:55

toastfiend I might order two sizes and just send one back!

OublietteBravo · 29/02/2020 11:01

@dellacucina - I like the skirt, but I’m not sure about the oversized jumper. (That’s in reference to your shall I keep it or not outfit - I love your pink jumper and docs outfit. You look great).

I’m prioritising comfort today - it’s wet and windy here. Which just seems to be normal for this winter.

Jumper: Hush
Trousers: Boden
Boots: DMs

@PalacePaper - you look great. Enjoy your day out!

FuckingHateRats · 29/02/2020 11:29

Current eBay watching list... Trying to inject more colour. Am thinking the floral jumpsuit would be good under black fitted tshirts too, and I could wear to work as well as summer?

Anyone have any thoughts?
