In the worlds least colourful outfit ( though have a red tee under you can't see!) but it's cold, miserable and sleeping so warmth was best
What breed @toast? We have MN least favourite dogs ( labradoodles and not ashamed) and I love a puppy photo!

Jumper: cashmere by Hope
Jeans: Boden coated skinnies
Trainers: Boden shearling lined

Arghhh I have 3 Alexa trousers in my basket @toastfiend - black, grey & rust!

@happytobemrsg I have the grey and love them! Black are on my wishlist and I love the rust for summer.

@Sooverthemill they're Mumsnet's nightmare as they're Labradoodle x German Shorthaired Pointer. 🤦‍♀️ Our vet misdiagnosed our bitch (the GSP) as having a phantom pregnancy 3 times and it was too late to terminate by the time we found out. We hadn't been able to have her spayed as she had very random seasons and lots of phantom pregnancies, so we never got the 3 months clear we needed. Then when we finally did she had a spinal stroke last year that practically paralysed her and they wouldn't operate (understandably) until she was rehabbed. She's fine now, you'd almost never know she'd had a stroke, and she's booked in to be spayed as soon as they go to their new homes. We've made the best of a crap situation and given them a good start and they all have wonderful homes lined up for them, so it's worked out ok.

@toast what a nightmare for you. I hope all goes well with her. Waiting for dog to have his op/ further tests as our vet practice been struck with a plague by the sound of it and it's been postponed until next week

Tomorrow I promise I will wear some colour! It's been a hugely monochrome week.

@toastfiend I ended up buying all 3 🤭 wondering if I could trying a slim shirt (black or white) to wear with them to smarten them up a bit for work (ladies can get away with smart/casual).

@FuckingHateRats love your outfit. 😊 Sizing is a little bit random, but they are working on it, I believe. Lots of their stuff is designed to be an oversized fit. I'm a 10-12 and wear small or medium in the Alexas (but really the small is the better fit as medium gives me a lot of poofy material around my bum!), medium in cord boilersuits (which I like more oversized), small in twill boilersuits (which I like more fitted) and small in dungarees.

@happytobemrsg yay! Hope you love them. I reckon you could. With a belt and the right shoes I reckon they'd be smart enough.

I’ve switched boots (these ones are from Dune). Although on reflection, I think I actually prefer the outfit with the boots from this morning. A combination which I’d never actually have considered trying had it not been for the snowy weather.

Everybody looking great as usual. @OublietteBravo I think I prefer your trousers with the 2nd pair of boots.

Thank you happy. I love these boots and this cardigan, haven't found much to wear it with though. Cardigans are a nuisance in winter as well as you either have to take them off to put a coat over the top or make sure your coat is long enough to cover the length of the cardigan!

@toastfiend what “work” shoes do you think could dress them up? Brogues maybe? I can’t do heels unfortunately (I walk like a duck 🦆)

I have trouble with cardigans too Ella. They usually ruin rather than enhance my outfit. I really like your Monsoon one though. Gorgeous. My mum bought a similar one from H&M

Took a leaf out of @OublietteBravo’s book and dug out my tank top (knitted with my own fair hands). Styled with a kimono sleeved shirt from Marks, combats from Asos and flats from Yull.

@happytobemrsg brogues would definitely work, I think. Possibly pumps/loafers, maybe? I tend to wear mine with my DMs or trainers, but I appreciate that might not be very work wear friendly!

Today - blue patterned trousers - M&S black jumper oasis. Black flatties.

Wednesday - tweed skirt - warehouse black wooly jumper rip curl

Tuesday - black trousers monsoon and a joules too with fox hunt print

Monday - black trousers monsoon white shirt with dog collar detail joules and yellow jumper oasis. Leopard print flatties.

Didn't get chance to post this morning.
Today and tomorrow are clearly Boden days.

Boden Dress and blazer.
Necklace was an Xmas present not sure if it works but want to wear more of my jewellery.

Tomorrow for the lovely 5.30 cold drive to catch the train wearing all Boden again!

Might go all red and wear a bright red wool coat I have over the top.

Think I will untuck jumper. Jeans are relaxed style and I think you would describe them as barrel shape. Very comfy!

I’m in heels today because I have a meeting with the VP and R&D Directors for my area. I don’t foresee any issues, but feel more confident if I’m quite smartly dressed. I have trainers to change into later...

Miserable weather continues here, so M&S jeans and jumper and Moda in Pelle boots. I’m really for spring in more ways than one!

Wore trainers when we went to soft play. Definitely going to have another wardrobe clearout this weekend, it's so daft to have so many clothes when I'm always gravitating towards my "favourites."
