Back in the office. No meetings today, so I’m at the more relaxed end of the work wear spectrum.

Jumper: Jigsaw

New Boden jumper
A Club Monaco skirt from possibly 10 years ago (!) Which I haven't worn in ages (really am shopping my wardrobe!)
My usual Cole Haan work shoes. There's no space in my office to store more than one or two pairs of shoes

Not posted the last couple of days, I've had friends staying and we've basically spent the entire time outdoors dog walking and at the yard with the horse. It's been lovely, but I've spent most of my time wearing jodhpurs and a very 80s/90s fleece, so probably not suitable for a "style" thread!! 🤣

Today I'm back to work and have an event to go to this evening.

Glittery loafers - Topshop, bought a while ago second-hand for £5. Don't think they'd ever been worn, though, as still had all the labels on.

@happytobemrsg I love your new dress, and also your skirt from yesterday. Are you wearing socks showing over ankle boots? Couldn't quite work it out from the photo but it looks great!

At work today, top from Sainsbury's and skirt from Lacoste. Worn with long tan boots, and a very boring black cardigan - it's cold in the office today!

More jeans research here! So for anyone interested, these are the M&S Sophia jeans. They are high waisted and haven’t slid down yet. They are very long though - I’m 5”7 and these have been rolled over twice and they are only the regular length. I’m wearing my usual size 10, I could probably have sized down to an 8 but I deliberately didn’t as didn’t want them super tight. Very comfy though.

Anyway, after buying 3 things from charity shops yesterday (dress, skirt & cardi) I have decided I am definitely doing no spend as of today and I’m doing it properly. Only thing I’m allowed is new underwear.

I think the only way I can do this is not going in any shops. So that is what I’ll have to do.

I’ve got rid of so much stuff recently (to charity shop) and I’m feeling really positive about my wardrobe at the moment, so I’m determined not to let it get bursting with unflattering, dubious clothes again !

Joining! Enjoying looking at all your lovely outfits so I thought I'd add mine, basic enough winter/dog walking fare! Scarf is handmade (not mine in pic, but basically the exact same), superdry jacket bought last October, boots are about 3 years old, jumper is about 2 years old and jeans are a recent second hand purchase, river island.

So today I've gone to an informal meeting.
Then I'm taking my youngest for a play date I was wear this dress without a cardigan but am freezing so just rummaged around for something. I did try a poncho took a picture for you all but it's not as warm as the cardi, think it would work well over the maroon leather jacket I have it's too cold for that today.

Not quite outfit of the day but what's everyone's thoughts on this, I'm off to a work event next weekend and the theme is black and white saw this on eBay.

I think I need to get a shape wear bodysuit so does anyone knows one that doesn't cut you in half?

Do I need to get it taken up slightly so it just skims the ground?

Finally shall I get the sides taken in slightly so it doesn't gap?

I'm also wondering if I should try and clean the white it's been dry cleaned bit is polyester and says spot cleaning only. If it wasn't black and white i'd take the risk and put it on a delicate wash but think the black might bleed into the white.

Yes @KiteflyingKat they are, I got the more riding boot style ones in black first, then the brown outdoorsy ones. So handy, I'm usually wearing one of them for at least 6 months of the year!

@Sickoffamilydrama I would definitely get the dress tailored! It will make a huge difference.

It's difficult to see whether the white is stained. If so, I'd dry clean. (I tend to think it's best to leave these things to the professionals!)

@KiteflyingKat those jeans are nice. I like the way they look with the big cuffs.

Dress- boohoo, cardigan primark, boots an independent clothes shop.

Just back in from town. In the spirit of embracing prints and florals I dug these Moschino trousers out (grey with pink/green accent flowers on), and teamed them with my green Zara faux fur jacket. Quite a departure for me colour wise but I made it home without the sky falling in!

I only realized that I’d picked almost entirely the same outfit as yesterday when I looked at the photos on my phone. Apparently I quite like dark green and black. I’m debating whether to go back to building all of my outfits around a single garment next week. If so, then I should probably pick a top/jumper or maybe a jacket.

Day off with DC today I'm trying to stop defaulting to jeans on days like this so wearing my favourite skirt from warehouse, top from Boden, jumper from M&S and Sainsbury's boots.

I'm wearing my other new Boden jumper, J Crew toothpick / mom jeans, and in this photo Minnetonka Moccasins. I've now changed into Gola trainers.

Love that outfit @dellacucina, those jeans are fab. My second day keeping track, sweater that's about a year old from a local boutique, trousers are about two years old from vero moda, my old valvedere boots and superdry jacket.
