I didn’t do powders, not feeling confident about all that so will try all this first. Don’t really do eyeshadow. Maybe there is something for me not sure.

The only thing I couldn’t find was the foundation you were thinking of buying. I scrolled through loads of pics but for some reason couldn’t see that one. What was it called again?

Lovely outfit Kitty.

I am currently lounging in bed, which is a weekend luxury that I haven't had in a long long while so I have been mooching on websites. I have just seen a new underwear brand on the John Lewis website. I love this bra but I realise i haven't worn thongs in a long time and have more switched to hipster briefs so I haven't clicked "buy" as I am unsure. So funny as thongs really were ubiquitous in the 90s and 00s.

Im being a slob today in a very old very comfy blue Juicy tracksuit and cashmere socks.
Yesterday OOTD was a bit more interesting I wore a tan blazer from Stella McCartney, White T from Tesco, MK brown leather trousers and these shoes from Office which were silly cheap but the colours will go with a lot of my Autumn coloured wardrobe.

Wow Marsha that is some haul. I too love Chanel products. I just use their tinted moisturiser and a blusher stick.

Caroline that's lovely set, great colour too but I see what you mean about the thong. Such a shame - there should be more knicker options.

Kitty they are cool, I couldn’t pull them off I don’t think though. I have a weakness for Chanel branded make up, yours sounds nice too.

Re haul I felt a bit ill yesterday about how much it all cost, but have managed to rationalise it today (haven’t worn or bought make up for two years, will last for ages etc etc)

Ok just a couple more items. A really good face moisturiser and a body one that is nice. What do you love / recommend?

For body I like Caudalie ($$), but really miss Aveneo stuff from Boots. Also just rediscovered Body Shop Shea butter body lotion (smell is quite strong but I love it).

Basic face cream I really rate Kiehl's.

When I say basic I just mean no active ingredients, acids etc. Just a really nice, plain cream that feels moisturizing.

Marsha don’t spend £££ on moisturiser. Not worth it. Invest the £££ in cleaners first, then serums. Clinique moisture surge or the Neutrogena version in the blue pot are excellent. Aveeno for body, or this is good on my hideous dry skin.

I use Eucerin with urea it’s quite good, but when that runs out I’m going to get this cerave one.

Thanks everyone my skin is so dry too. I have to moisturise immediately after showering, got worse with age I suppose not that unusual.

Wow Marsha you really went for broke on Saturday! What colour lipstick? If you’re not that keen on eyeshadow you could try an eye pencil & use just one colour- I have one from Charlotte tilbury and a Clinique chubby stick (which has lasted ages but now eeking out the last of it)

I am so pleased with the tan lux drops and Erborian cc cream - have used together and it works so well-had my first ‘have you been on holiday?’ comment yesterday!

The MV faux leather leggings are being returned-didn’t like enough to keep, along with a couple of others pairs of trousers. I am keeping
this knit and a pair of cream wide legged crops - can’t link as seem to have disappeared from the website.

We need some pictures to brighten up the tail end of January so here is Charlize Theron and Jessie J. Jessie looks amazing in that dress and I love CT’s entire outfit and would definitely wear all of it
