@DryWhiteagainW they are lovely, in fact the whole outfit the model is wearing is lovely.

Themarvellousmrsm · 06/02/2020 13:32

Gorgeous boots Dry, in fact lots of lovely things on the MD website.

Shop I keep thinking about microdermabrasion as my beautician does it but like the needling seems a bit too....abrasive/invasive and concerned if it goes wrong. Same with the laser treatment. Has anyone had either done and how effective?

Just back from work and off for a late lunch with friends. Ootd Hush camo star jumper layered over black silk shirt, pleated midi skirt and mv trainers.

Everyonelovessparkles · 06/02/2020 16:56

lib that sock website was just Grin. Hope you find something suitable soon shop.

Did you order the maje shorts caroline? Mine came, and whereas I like them and they look good on, I’m just not sure if I’ll ever wear them. They’re quite thick so not suitable for hot weather, they do look ok with opaques and if I went out out more, I would be tempted to keep them.... the Bardot tops are nice. Though bizarrely despite both being a medium, the black is a good half inch bigger all over! They’re not quite as smooth lying as I would have hoped for, as they do bunch up abit at the side. This black dress and green dress arrived today. Although not very exciting, I can see me wearing both quite a lot, they’re ideal for work as smartish but easy, so I’ll probably keep them.

Hope you had a nice lunch out mrsm.

lib how was your holiday earlier in the year? It looked gorgeous. I went somewhere round there many years ago and it was stunning.

Another lovely day in London today, it feels like spring isn’t far away!

shopafrolic · 06/02/2020 19:11

Saw this and thought of Marsha

shopafrolic · 06/02/2020 19:13

Marvellous there are no needles in micro dermabrasion. info here
I have it done about 3 times a year. It’s v non invasive and with a peel alongside it has good results.

shopafrolic · 06/02/2020 19:14

I’ve not done lasers, and have only ever needled at home so much finer and shorter needles.

shopafrolic · 06/02/2020 19:41

Sorry Marvellous - I misread your post. Realised you know that there are no needles. I’ve never had any downtime from microdermabrasion and no problems afterwards.

MarshaBradyo · 07/02/2020 12:25

Thanks Shop I sent pics of the orange trio. £250 or thereabouts to fix. Not sure, it’s a lot but then it’s wrecked and I do like the colour.

MarshaBradyo · 07/02/2020 12:26

Everyone lovely dresses agree re weather. Cold and sunny, my (second) favourite. So nice to get away from 11 and drizzle.

MarshaBradyo · 07/02/2020 12:27

I have drainage people here in a mo. Starting from scratch after series of non communication beteeen teams. Sent back to beginning with new team. Over a month 😫

MarshaBradyo · 07/02/2020 12:29

Which reminds me Stokey or any intrepid renovators did you move out when they did your extension?

My friends mostly didn’t but architect advised to. Not sure after pain of simple issue above.

shopafrolic · 07/02/2020 14:47

Can’t help on extension stuff but would say trio restoration is worth the £ if the bag itself is still intact.

libertyonhertravels · 07/02/2020 19:30

Marsha after going through our renovation I would recommend moving out if you can. Especially with a toddler. The dust and mess are unbelievable and you can have days where anything up to ten people are on site. Get an agreed schedule though as last thing you want is delays.

Marsha we didn't move out but we're doing the back and side of the house. So still had our living room & the spare room downstairs set up as a temporary kitchen. We also didn't do anything upstairs. I can't say it wasn't stressful though! There's a whole part of your house missing, down to one loo so the morning loo queue got ridiculous, & builders in your space the entire time (ours worked Saturdays). Spare room for trashed as temp kitchen & still needs sorting out - grease on walls from cooking 🤢.
But we would have spent at least £2K/ month extra on rent had we moved out, so saved quite a bit by staying, also friends have had to pay for storage. And we were there to see what they had done & shout if anything looked dodgy. Tricky decision.

westr · 08/02/2020 20:35

Shopafrolic, I tried on that Zadig outfit you posted today.. just couldn't really justify spending over a grand on it

libertyonhertravels · 09/02/2020 07:17

It's been a while since I spent time browsing much online.

I love this dress. It would look amazing on Mara.
