Now. A request. Can we please keep this to critiquing the clothes rather than the wearer?

So if you want to talk about what Meghan's wearing then fine, go ahead. I'm not even saying you have to like everything she wears. This applies to all royal women - if you don't like an outfit then do feel free to say so.

But if you want to talk about "Megxit" then please go to one of the many many other MN threads about it and leave us to our clothes chatter!

Wow, those boots of Princess Anne's Dreadful length - neither one thing nor another.

Anne looks almost comical there. For a women so tiny in real life that’s an awful photograph.

Isn't it part of the beauty and stupidity of it? Anne is just doing her job - and the press does not give a damn about it. Her charities may not get the major interest from her appearances, but her visits mean they are the focus, not her damned clothes. Hers is a good, functional style which she's not deviated from in many years. The boots are not stylish, but they're probably very comfy.

DH and I were discussing Royals and their favourite department store (Kate = Selfridges, Meghan = Harvey Nicks, Anne = House of Bruar) and lo and behold...

Also removing pull on boots worn without tights might involve taking a couple of layers of skin with them!

Possibly unfair but PA strikes me as a 15 denier American tan tight wearer. She looks like any woman pushing 70 when I was growing up. My Nana and Auntie both dressed like that

Not sure about Selfridges, but Kate probably shops at liberty for homeware, and John Lewis for casual clothes? Or the other way round.
