New Year, new thread!!!! Continuing the great work already started!!!

This thread is for those that LOVE beauty products... so much so they hoard them, and covet them and behold the beauty that they contain 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I started last year but ran out of steam. Going to make more effort this year. Tomorrow I will do an inventory & begin properly.

@LivingDeadGirlUK I can relate so much – my clothes ‘stash’ is another issue which I am trying to address in 2020 (my drawers are bursting!💥). I want to create a clothes inventory similar to the one I’ve made for my skincare and beauty products. I am sure it will take me weeks to do it (and probably a decade (!) to ‘use it all up’ (wear it all out)).

White company “vervine” shower gel used up. Only a lime and bay one to go...!!

I had a clothes cull last week and I’m on a no spend until February pay day at the earliest. I kept one of each thing (so I had for example three of the same white top. Kept one gave the others to charity or dsis)

Oh lord, my love of beauty products knows no bounds Blush
A couple of years ago, after a period of illness and a lot of heavy duty medication, I looked in the mirror and decided my face looked rough.
From then on, I’ve become obsessed by buying creams, lotions and potions! I will post a pic later if anyone wants to see.
Maybe even do an inventory.
At one point I ended up with 6 beauty subscription boxes a month along with random space nk splurges.
I’ve cancelled all the boxes now as I decided to veer towards cruelty free and more considered purchases but I still have lots in my collection from before I went cruelty free. I’ve bought them now so I’ll continue to use them until they’re done.
I also bought myself the space nk advent calendar and discovered the most beautiful moisturiser from chantecaille. Unfortunately it’s £300 but I think I’ll buy the full sized one at some point because I loved using it so much, it was like rubbing cashmere into my face Grin I thought I was extravagant splashing out £100 on the Charlotte tilbury night cream... I knew nothing!
I have just subscribed to beauty pie too.

Just dumped a blister relief cream. It’s a shame as I do like this and it’s my go to when I’m run down and my lips get all cracky (as they are now). However. It’s in a metal tube and just won’t stop coming out!!!!!

Irritating and messy.

2 empties. A philosophy eye cream and the M&s night cream from the advent. But then I blew it by getting a Guerlain meteorites foundation, Rouge lipstick and case in the sale at H of F. Dammit! But I had run out of the foundation so it did need replacing.

A this works pillow spray, nip and fab body cream and a small eyeko mascara. I got two of the mascaras in advent calendars this year and I’m not keen but have used them

I got the This Works Pillow spray with my LF subscription just recently, does it work?

I think it helps, maybe not for everyone but worth a go. Mine is from the M&S calendar, I think

I have finished a Nars radiant creamy concealer in Chantilly. Really like this and will repurchase at some point, but have some more concealers to use first.

It does look like there is loads of product left, which bothers me. Is there a way to upen this up so I can decant/use whatever is left?

Binning a Burberry full kisses lipstick in military red as it is quite possibly the worst lipstick I have ever had.
It is impossible to wear as it bleeds and it seems to constantly get on my teeth. I have never experienced anything like this from a lipstick.
It’s annoying because the colour is pretty.

Sorry, I’m a newcomer, is this a thread to try and use up what you’ve got and not buy anymore stuff?! I think I’ll be a while using up anything other than bath and shower products Blush
I’ve got so many things I tend to use a bit of this and a bit of that rather than stick to the same things every day!

Chosen hello Smile

I think like most , I had a cupboard load (and a 4 drawer storage unit) full of bottles . Mainly things on offer ( "Oh look that's on BOGOF or 3 for 2" ) or the search for the Holy Grail that keeps you buying the next bottle or the next jar that's advertised .

You excitedly use your New Wonder Product next shower time .........and usually it's just as meh as what you had before .

Or you have A Holy Grail but you want a "dupe" to save money but sometimes end up with loads of products you never use up.

I have some Holy Grails - Shampure (Aveda) and BodyShop Ginger (shampoo+conditioner for flare ups) . Nothing else works as well so no point me wasting money .

I go back to some things and think "Why did I buy this"? and try to use it as obviously something enticed me to .

With SteamCream, I was seduced by the cute tin and the fact it is cruelty free (and 50% off) . Less enamoured at the strong lavender scent , so I used it on my feet .

So - sort out your stash . Anything "off" , discoloured , out of date , just dispose of .
Then work through them ( and post your efforts on here ) get the next one out and start .
If it's one you'd rebuy then great . You can re-buy once you've finished them all.
