Loved Kate’s outfit today. In that link; they were saying that Kate is making it a bit of a tradition to hold a weekend house party for her birthday (9th January)

My cynical self also says it was a smart pr move to slip the Cholmondleys into the house party group.

I see she’s wearing boots with the coat for my sake ;)

I don’t like the hat, I think it ruins the coat.

I like Rose’s coat looks very chic.

I'm guessing the coat must be bespoke as no one has figured out who it is by? Given the tartan dress for the Christmas dinner was spotted just from a shoulder. I'm guessing it will be Catherine Walker, McQueen ect Kate seems to have brand loyalty to an extent.

I didn't realise there was an annual get together this weekend for Kate's birthday, very clever to have the Cholmondeley's there this morning implies they are still in the inner circle without saying anything.

PG has Middleton eyes but Spencer nose & mouth.

Instagram is saying Catherine Walker for the coat. I think this is one of her better looks, saved from frumpsville/ Princess Anne by the hat. Rose C looks super elegant if tragic.

But twitter says the coat is definitely Roksanda 🤷‍♀️

I'm clearly in a minority with this, but I'm not a fan of Kate's outfit today - especially the hat (sorry @Rhubarbisevil!). I preferred Rose Hanbury's coat, though her hat was a bit ridiculous, especially considering how mild the weather is - Norfolk isn't exactly Moscow or Helsinki!

I'm only on page nine but I had to post. The post about the Queen being forced out of Balmoral is really unfair. She was a grand mother whose grandchildren had just lost their mother in horrific circumstances. Her first priority was, and should be, to them not the bloody public who are forever criticising her family.

I agree. And can we just try and accept that there never was evidence for an affair- because there never was an affair.

Just adding another 👎 for the colour of Kate's hat .Doesn't go with the coat and boots as far as I'm concerned .

And this is the first time I've looked at a photo of her and thought she looked a bit under the weather .Sympathies if she is and has to keep up appearances .

Those criticising Rose's hat should consider that Carole's is very similar.

Carole is also a fair bit older than Rose! And her hat is nicer.

I rather like Kate's outfit today....at least it makes a change from her usual mother of the bride coat/dresses. Quirky. I approve.
