Ooooo I wonder will we see an outing of the spencer tiara for the wedding?? I'm already excited about the dress... Kitty will go all out!

Gooseysgirl · 04/01/2020 11:49

I think we will definitely see Archie on the balcony in the summer... for all their talk of wanting privacy, it'll be too good of a PR opportunity for H&M to miss! Between him and Louis it'll be cuteness overload 😄

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/01/2020 12:06

Archie is a private citizen but so are the Phillips siblings and various Windsor cousins and that hasn't stopped them appearing on the balcony. Who'd turn down a perk like that??

@SeaRabbit - thanks for the link. It’s interesting to flick through. I think these are my favourite 2019 outfits from Kate and Meghan.

Who'd have guessed he'd be a millionaire?
He is not bad looking and looks younger than 60 and rich, win win Wink

Google shows the Spencers are worth £100M. But it doesn’t say if it’s the whole Spencer family or just the earl of Spencer.
I always got the impression Earl of Spencer is land rich cash poor. So who knows!

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/01/2020 13:04

He's got 7 kids to provide for though, and the bulk of the estate goes to his eldest son.

So my worst Meghan looks first. And before I'm flamed I know she is heavily pregnant/just given birth in all of these so I do appreciate fashion may not of been her priority but the Dior the colour alone is wrong for her. Belted dresses aren't are friend (please 2020 kill that trend) and the trooping outfit is frustrating and I think it could have been spot on but it didn't translate especially when she was wearing the gloves

And the best I think I have already covered but these were stand outside for me. Although I think Meghan always nails her off duty/casual wardrobe and her shoes are spot on.

I hope Meghan plays around with the 60's style of dresses a bit more this year maybe they only worked when she was pregnant but I think it's a style that could really work for her also more jumpsuits.

Kate's worst, and I'm going for actually bad not just boring and repetitive, and the odd top and trouser combo that a pp posted.

I hope Kate changes it up a bit in 2020 steps away from the busy prints high necks and long sleeves. I think she suits a simple tailored look much more.

My favourite from Kate is hard as she always seems to get something wrong on every outfit but I think it's these

Sorry I will stop spamming the thread now Blush

Finally someone agrees with me @itswinetime!

hopeishere · 04/01/2020 16:15

These are my Kate favs. Meghan gets it wrong a lot - too fussy, too tight or swamping her. But she was pregnant and new to it all I guess.

Can't believe that it was nearly two years ago but this remains one of my favourite MM dresses - the style suits her and I thought she looked fabulous.

The purple dress on KM however would be banished to the bottom of the Royal charity bag.

Wetdogloveshubert · 04/01/2020 19:53

Kate's purple dress always seems to be how I look in those kinds of dresses, @RomaineCalm, pregnant or not Grin boob shelf, anyone?

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/01/2020 20:38

It seems a random couple in Vancouver got a surprise when Meghan offered to take a photo of them!

MotherofPearl · 04/01/2020 20:48

Love all those Kate outfits @hopeishere.

Totally agree about that purple dress. I guess part of the problem there is her posture. Remind me who it is on these threads who has a thing about Kate's posture? That photo shows why!

frugalkitty · 04/01/2020 21:00

I agree about Kate's clothes, so often I like most of her outfit but there's something that isn't quite right and makes me think 'meh'.

I loved the black jumpsuit that Meghan wore, hadn't realised it was a 2019 wear or would have included it with my favourite looks of hers.

Also looking forward to the Spencer wedding, especially the tiara!!

AppleKatie · 04/01/2020 21:06

That’s a nice Meghan story. I both want to read them and want people to stop selling their encounters for cash.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 04/01/2020 21:45

Remind me who it is on these threads who has a thing about Kate's posture?

Think that might be me Blush

In fairness it's because she walks very elegantly so to my eyes her standing posture lets her down a bit.

MotherofPearl · 04/01/2020 22:09

Ah yes, @Myimaginarycathasfleas - it is you! When you see how her shoulders are slumped there though, her sitting posture also needs work (though God knows I'm sure my own is far worse).

thisenglishlife · 04/01/2020 22:14

for all their talk of wanting privacy, it'll be too good of a PR opportunity for H&M to miss
I don't remember them saying anything about privacy, rather that Archie would be bought up as a private citizen... Which means something else. This wording is always used against them.

This has been reflected in them not taking up Earl as a title for Archie, which he was entitled to (Earl of Dumbarton). Also, they said they they would have the christening at a private chapel (Prince George and Prince Louis were christened at the Chapel Royal and Princess Charlotte had a paddock open to the public) with a photo opportunity and this is what they did.

H&M never said that they would not take Archie to events or never release photographs of him. As Archie is not the son of a heir, he will obviously not be in the public eye as much as G, C and L.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 04/01/2020 22:45

I'm looking forward to Archie's first balcony appearance. I think he could be a wriggler! I'm interested to see what his sartorial style will be too...

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 04/01/2020 22:47

Looking forward to Kitty Spencer's wedding. Deffo Spencer tiara and a dolce e Gabbana wedding gown (as she is a muse)
The fashion will be awesome as she's often on Instagram with Edward Enniful and the Vogue crowd.

Rhubarbisevil · 05/01/2020 01:00

I’m agog at the DM linked story that the Duke of Rutland’s girls will be getting their own Kardashian style reality programme, “Mind your Manners!”
