Apparently the Cambridges are going skiing

Laniakea · 27/12/2019 12:20

Pippa? I assume that is just a skin crease - it's way too high for a c-section scar (a section incision is into the lower uterine segment - I've had four myself & performed a fair few too!).

DuchessofWoke · 27/12/2019 12:22

Pippa has an amazing body but even so I wouldn’t personally wear such a teeny tiny bikini on holiday with my parents and a load of extended family. It left little to the imagination!

They do appear to lead the life of Riley the Matthews clan.

Catrescue1971 · 27/12/2019 12:22

To me it looks like the Middletons know they are being photographed (the pics in St Barts). There's something about how they are acting and their facial expressions.

DuchessofWoke · 27/12/2019 12:22

I agree it’s a skin crease, probably from a higher-cut pair of bottoms or shorts she had on earlier. Too high for c section.

paradyning · 27/12/2019 12:51

It's not a c section scar. They're much lower.

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 27/12/2019 12:58

I agree they don’t look like pap shots from a photographer a mile away hiding behind a bush.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 27/12/2019 13:01

How dreadful that you can’t be on holiday & not be snapped purely because your daughter/sister is a future queen. They didn’t ask for such intrusion.

DuchessofWoke · 27/12/2019 13:32

If they’re holidaying with Spencer and Vogue, they all know they’re being photographed. I think they tip off the paps.

paradyning · 27/12/2019 13:36

To be fair, Pippa has earned money in the past from precisely that premise. It's only that's she's married rich that she doesn't anymore.

elfsocksandsnowboots · 27/12/2019 14:23

Agree, that's not a CS scar. It's a crease mark on her tummy probably from shorts or something. CS scars are way lower than that (I was surprised when I had mine, I thought they cut your lower tummy, it's definitely not in the tummy area at all!). Also Pippa's baby is what, one? A CS scar would still be much more obvious scar than that little mark.

She looks amazing regardless. What a figure. Nice bikini too.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 27/12/2019 18:16

No way that is a CS scar. I hate the way the Fail talks about 'flaunting', 'showing off'. A woman on holiday in a bikini is not displaying herself, she is enjoying a holiday in the sun. Why are men not talked about like this? Are the men 'flaunting' their bodies? No. It's just blatant sexism.
The assumption is all women want to be photographed all the time and commentated about. All women are vain and body conscious. It disgusts me.

itswinetime · 27/12/2019 19:20

Does it matter if it is a c section scar?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 27/12/2019 19:45

I think they conversation has moved on @itswinetime but the point the poster was making was how intrusive the photographer was to get so close to show a c section scar (or not) and a pacemaker scar.

AppleKatie · 27/12/2019 19:46

It also matters in the sense that if it is her surgeons a bit crap because it’s in the wrong place Shock

We’re short of pics today, have they weighed in and left Sandringham now or does it continue a bit longer?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 27/12/2019 19:46

This was the post.

Those long lenses are intrusive. You can see pa Middleton has a pacemaker and did I spot a c section scar

QueenOfTheAndals · 27/12/2019 19:48

We must be starved of royal style if we've resorted to arguing about what may or may not be someone's CS scar!

Hopefully January will bring us some fashion to brighten up a dull month. I don't think Kate will have any engagements until the children go back to school but hopefully we'll see her out and about then.

And Meghan should be due back next month after her sabbatical. I wonder what her next project will be? The cookbook and Smart Set were both successful.

AppleKatie · 27/12/2019 20:31

Yes, that is the problem with going away- you have to come back 😆. It might be too much to hope for but I would like the first time we see them now to be a work engagement not a bizarre ‘seen at airport’ long lens. Either way I see a ponytail, white shirt and black trousers in the near future.

QueenOfTheAndals · 27/12/2019 20:38

There were rumours over the summer about Meghan writing a children's book about a rescue dog. If that's true then perhaps that's her next project and involves the Mayhew.

OP posts:
AppleKatie · 27/12/2019 20:46

Might be nice if she’s been away writing said book.

itswinetime · 27/12/2019 20:49

@DobbyTheHouseElk both the posts before mine were giving their thoughts on if it was a c section scar or not so I didn't sense the conversation had moved on. I saw the original post and I understood that posters point. I just don't understand why it matters if someone had a c-section or not. If people were just debating because of the scar location then that's fair enough. I'm just not keen when the talk focuses on bodies be it weight or scars 🤷🏻‍♀️

itswinetime · 27/12/2019 20:52

A children's book would be interesting and is in keeping with her hands on approach plus a book launch would have to warrant a gown no?

DobbyTheHouseElk · 27/12/2019 20:56

@itswinetime apologies I thought we were discussing the intrusive cameras.

Totally agree, I don’t like body shaming at all. But I do think the paps are awful for taking such photos. I wouldn’t want my holiday bikini pictures in the paper.

AppleKatie · 27/12/2019 20:58

I wouldn’t either. But I think I could live with it if I a) looked like that b) got to spend Christmas in St Barts

PaprikaPringle · 27/12/2019 21:09

I think if Meghan wants the Press off her back and the public on her side she needs to be seen out and about doing charity work and meeting people rather than working behind the scenes then turning up at the launch of her projects.
