Loved Charlotte's outfit and she's matching DOC's shoes and headwear. She's a little star - look at Beatrice, she's jealous of her! 😂

Poor George almost always looks shy, sad, uninterested, upset or overwhelmed.

Does anyone else think that the photo of Andrew and Charles this morning looks like the covert shot of BigFoot?

hopeishere · 25/12/2019 16:13

I'm not sure about bringing the kids to that. They both look overwhelmed.

Hilarious about the rest of them in hatbands when Kate's abandoned them!

thisenglishlife · 25/12/2019 16:25

My favourite Kate outfit of the year (minus the Pakistan tour clothes, of course!).

Simple, no prissy details, easy to move about in, covered up without being boring, comfy and great for much of the year's British weather.

@thisenglishlife I agree it's lovely. Similar to what I tend to wear on a day to day basis yet I don't quite have the same elegance.

Do we know where her boots are from?

hopeishere · 25/12/2019 17:16

I think they're Chloe boots

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/12/2019 17:25

Charlotte & George were so well behaved.
The outfits were a bit dull and the colours bar HM, Camilla and Anne were a bit inspid

thisenglishlife · 25/12/2019 17:35

Meghan's outfit of the year.

Kate's outfit was: khaki Barbour jacket, a red J.Crew jumper, unknown black skinny jeans and See by Chloe boots (M&S do a cheaper copy).

I actually love Kate’s coat, but I imagine you need her height to pull it off. I’d look like I wrapped a blanket around myself.

Lady Louise’s coat . Making a young girl look middle aged .

queenofarles · 25/12/2019 18:25

Yes I agree that a good part of making Kate’s coat work is her height and figure plus good tailoring , is it Catherine Walker?

I think Lady Louise is at a stage where she is experimenting and trying to figure out what sort style she likes, i dressed very sloaney at that age.Oh how I shudder when I look back at my old pics. I snapped out of it at 17 and embraced the 00s low rise jeans and skinny long scarves.

EmGee · 25/12/2019 18:27

Merry Christmas everyone!

I love Kate's outfit - she is just so elegant. I think she's done something to her eyebrows though - they look painted on and too highly arched (compared to previous years).

I feel sorry for George and Charlotte. How stressful. I know the other GC (the Philips girls) have walked to church before but I don't think they have to interact with the public bar waving.

I love the Queen in bright red. Very festive!

QueenOfTheAndals · 25/12/2019 18:51

She's been sporting a strong brow for a little while now.

OP posts:
itswinetime · 25/12/2019 19:12

I'm not sure if it's that Kate has gone darker on her brow or lighter in her hair but it's definitely a strong brow although it's better in some lights than other.

Looks like she wore the Micheal Kors peacock dress underneath.

beanaseireann · 25/12/2019 19:24

Yes definitely a peacock feather dress.
In one photo it looks as if Kate has had lip filler. It's a side on view as she and Charlotte are either entering or exiting the church. She looks. Very Italian film star like in it.!Smile
Could some nice Mumsnetter do the photo for me please. I can't as I made a hames of it once Blush

BoyfriendCoatBigScarf · 25/12/2019 19:25

Poor George, he looks like a child with the weight of the world on him. Charlotte looks very young today. At times I think she looks much older than her age. I did laugh at the photos of the pink flamingo and think of all the tasteful wooden toys they must have Xmas Grin

I was also impressed by William, but I have a thing for men in lovely coats.

hifolks · 25/12/2019 19:36

Poor George, he looks so fed up and tired.

StartupRepair · 25/12/2019 19:40

Lady Louise's coat is very dowdy. Charlotte looked gorgeous. I do think she has flashes of looking like Diana. And yes, what a weird thing to put your DC through having to front up to crowds like that.

SunshineCake · 25/12/2019 19:44

@itswinetime I thought you were saying Prince Andrew was going to look at Twitter to see what everyone wore GrinBlush.

I thought the D of C coat was grey but people are saying beige and oatmeal

itswinetime · 25/12/2019 19:48

@SunshineCake 😂

I'm not sure if these are any of the photos you mean @beanaseireann there are some side views with a cute picture of Charlotte's curtesy just because it's cute.

I like Kate’s outfit but agree that her height is integral to carrying it off. I love the full skirt on the coat though, so elegant. And she does suit those little hats, much better than the headbands imo.

Such a weird position to be in though - people forming a crowd to see you walking into a church, and to then have to have two small children in tow...! I just can’t imagine it. It’s like some kind of weird safari park encounter. Everyone queuing up to see the Royals in their natural habitat.

paradyning · 25/12/2019 19:52

I really like Bea's coat neckline and headband

Wildorchidz · 25/12/2019 19:59

And yes, what a weird thing to put your DC through having to front up to crowds like that.

It’s expected. It’s not right.

beanaseireann · 25/12/2019 20:00

Yes itswinetime, thank you. It's the final photo of the trio.

I agree, Lady Louisa looks so dowdy (and very like her ancestors). Lord James Severn looks frozen

QueenOfTheAndals · 25/12/2019 20:03

Maybe George was looking grumpy because a) he was cold or b) he'd rather stay home with his toys than attend church!
