Lovely soover

Sooverthemill · 02/02/2020 09:15

Gosh what a rubbish rainy day! Grim
Am wearing brand new sale bargain ( wanted one of these for ages) . It's really stiff like new jeans and I have no idea how I'm going to use the loo....

Jumpsuit: finery
Trainers: jigsaw old

Two lovely outfits there soover. Love the jump suit. I still keep looking for the warehouse one I saw.

We went out for a casual dinner last night with friends.

Wore a dress I picked up for Ā£6 yesterday isn’t the sales. Just easy to wear, will wear for work. Leather jacket and bag all saints, boots Clark’s!

@Sooverthemill - I love your jumpsuit. It’s fairly easy to go to the toilet in the ones that fasten at the front. The ones that fasten at the back are much trickier. I like your dress from yesterday too - I hope you enjoyed your evening out.

I’ve gone for comfort today. My new Doc Martens (bought in the sale in December) seem to be broken in - hooray!

Cashmere jumper: Boden
Leggings: Mint Velvet
Socks: ?? ( from TK
Boots: Doc Martens

I love your outfit @Softpebbles - especially the dress. I’m starting to think I might need to look for a leather jacket once I come out of no spend.

toastfiend · 02/02/2020 11:13

Forgot my outfit post yesterday, so I'll do two today. More dungarees as we went to the zoo.

Otter dungarees - Lucy & Yak
Top - Juno Jack's
Boots - DMs

Not sure about today's outfit, don't know if I look a bit Morticia Adams esque in it! We're off out for lunch later and I'm hoping the layers will allow for easy feeding access for the baby.

Slip dress - Topshop sale bargain.
Beaded jumper - Topshop, absolutely ancient, think I bought it when I was at uni.
Studded boots - bought preloved, unknown brand.

So many great outfits! šŸ˜

Sooverthemill · 02/02/2020 11:39

@OublietteBravo ah no it's not that at all! It's that manoeuvring out of it is really hard as it's so fitted. Not like a soft fabric jumpsuit at all. Only way out is both arms at once and that's incredibly hard ( I don't think it's because I'm especially inflexible). Hoping with wear and washing but will get softer and easier,

Ninkanink · 02/02/2020 11:43

I love, love, love jumpsuits. I’ve got one casual one and dressy one and I want more!!

Chipsahoy · 02/02/2020 12:15

Looking lovely everyone.
Does anyone else dress up sometimes even if they aren't going out?
Feel over dressed today in an old skater dress (are they even "in" anymore?). I was in leggings and a sweater first thing but after shower fancied dressing up a bit.

Ignore the mess in the mirror, my toddler likes to kiss it..

And photo bomb there by my Dc2!

Talisin · 02/02/2020 12:20

Love all the don’t mess with me today outfits from yesterday Grin Love that Flash tee as well, @happytobemrsg

@Sooverthemill that jumpsuit is fantastic - and what a gorgeous colour! I’m very envious as I have never been able to find a winter jumpsuit that suits me.

Sooverthemill · 02/02/2020 12:22

Thanks @talisin. It's a great colour isn't it? I found it by chance and was lucky really

KiteflyingKat · 02/02/2020 13:22

I also like the jumpsuit @soover

Ellapaella · 02/02/2020 16:11

@Ellapaella I'm a long time lurker, first time poster on this thread! Just come on to say I have ordered your Hush dress after lusting after it in all your pictures Wink

MrsWBodie · 02/02/2020 17:58

Hi everyone, clearly I’m rubbish at this as again have forgotten to take a picture! I’ve been home all day sorting and listing things on eBay and just getting ready for the week.
Love the jumpsuit @Sooverthemill and your hush dress @Ellapaella
I’m wearing black pull on trousers and a leopard print tee, both H&M with my Selected Femme Etoile sweatshirt. Comfort has won out today!

happytobemrsg · 02/02/2020 19:01

LOVE the jumpsuit @Sooverthemill! Looks incredible on you

Still loving that dress on you @Ellapaella, you have a great eye.

@toastfiend do you have shares in L&Y?!? Grin So many gorgeous bits. I love your style.

This morning I went to my parents for breakfast.

@Uhtredswoman ah I'm pleased to have been of service šŸ˜‰šŸ˜Š I'm sure you will love the dress, I have had lots of compliments on it when I've worn it out.

Ellapaella · 02/02/2020 19:13

Thanks @happytobemrsg and @MrsWBodie
Happy aren't the high tops a good buy? I really have worn them so much since I got them. They go with everything, so versatile.

happytobemrsg · 02/02/2020 20:18

I can’t believe how much I’ve worn them @Ellapaella. I do sometimes worry that I’m too old to wear them but I like them so... šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

I’ve had a good look through my clothes & the app & I think I’m going to put together a spring capsule wardrobe. About 35 things (clothes/footwear/outerwear/bags). Thanks to trying to buy clothes which can be worn through seasons I don’t think I have too much to buy. I have a few things on their way to me but I’m happy with how it’s looking so far

Well you all look fantastic. I on the other hand, do not! Very long day here spent coaching U14 girls netball in a tournament, followed by a run, followed by taxiing children.
Complete outfit of sweaty betty joggers and sweaty betty top.

Hello all. Long time lurker. Hope you don't mind me joining the thread.

So you've all inspired me to sort out my wardrobe and wear more of my clothes. I downloaded the Stylebook app and logging all my clothes.. it's a long process.

I've discovered that a) I have too many shoes. B) over 50% of my clothes are HUSH / Mint Velvet and C) I live in grey jumpers and jeans!

I need a bit of a style rejig. I've signed up to Stichfix to give me some inspiration. But what other brands could I look at? I also have whistles and All Saints and a Matalan / Falmer t shirt collection.

I'm mid 40s and self employed working from home but so bored of just the same jeans / t shirt outfit each day.

You all seem so put together so hoping I can get some inspiration.

I'll post my outfit tomorrow. It won't be grey t and jeans ... I hope.

Purplecatshopaholic · 03/02/2020 00:13

Some fab looks today everyone. Loving this thread
