All second hand

So I'm keeping the hush onyx size 8 as it's a much better fit. I also had a couple of finery jumpsuits arrive. One is lovely but too long so I'm going to see if my seamstress ( I sound posh) can alter it, she's coming tomorrow to see and if not will send back . The other is a red denim boiler suit which I really like but is too baggy I think so have reordered in a smaller size. This has to be vanity sizing, I'm not that small

I'm sitting in my hands to stop the urge to splurge on all the sale emails coming in. Wearing a dress that my DDs chose and bought for me, bless them, from &OS and ancient navy boots from Pied a Terre.

Had a lovely day today shopping with my mum who got her SBS style analysis for Christmas. It was so good seeing her smiling & standing taller trying on new things & being pleasantly surprised. She bought: trainers, 2x jeans, 4x tops, a dress, a long cardigan & a necklace- all for £200!

I wore my Hush Becca jumpsuit (incredibly comfy) with my cream cord jacket from MV.

Thank you everyone who commented re the boilersuit. 😊 Having spent a day in it I've remembered why I've not sold it yet. I do love it and it's so comfy. Completely agree that I should try it with different colour accessories, though. 😊

Delurking to ask @ellapaella if you remember which cut your Levi’s are? I remember you saying ages ago but now can’t remember. Are they 501’s?

They look like my much loved vintage 501’s that I wore back in the ‘90’s. I left them in the wardrobe at my mum’s house to be kept for future wear / to pass on to my unborn daughter (because you know, the perfect jean) . I rue the day she threw them out in a fit of decluttering.

I have seen 501’s around again recently but they are all very cropped and there seems to be a few versions. Yours are ❤️

Hi Kahu - they are 501 tapered leg boyfriend jeans. I got them in the sale at Debenhams early last year. They are my favourite jeans - so versatile and go with everything.

Office today but a bit casual as it’s a Friday! Shoes from Tory Burch ages ago. Trousers from an ASOS sale with Gucci belt and very vintage (ie very old) Dior top. Not so cold today for ditched the boots for today at least!

Not sure about the trousers actually, hence why they never get worn. The colour is Tobacco apparently. Any thoughts?

I’ve dug out a pair of shoes which I’ve not worn in a while. They’re very comfortable and well-made - perhaps I should wear them more often. I think it might be time to retire this pair of jeans, although I’ll probably wait until the end of the season before doing so.

Easy to take off clothes as I have seamstress coming to see if she can alter a jumpsuit to fit on my bottom half ( as I am a very short person) and I've loved this forever and want to be tall and elegant
