@Sooverthemill I like your jumper, what does FWP stand for?

Sooverthemill · 26/01/2020 10:13

@Ellapaella it stands for French Wine Project! The woman who designs the tees and sweatshirts used to run a wine company and post divorce now produces ethical cotton tees and sweats. All have a link to wine ( I have : rose, Bon vintage, Provence and my knackered tee is from there too! I also have this sweatshirt bought to celebrate being cancer free and a plain cream one. I really love the quality Here's the link if you want to look. I love them and although Hush prices, so nice!

@OublietteBravo my DH rowed for Trinity college ( back in the 80s) and one of DD's friends rows for Oxford now. Love Oxford and the shopping is indeed good

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/01/2020 10:25

Oops, I cracked and ordered some clothes online. I have invested in a jumpsuit and it’s all your faults @oubliettebravo and @toastfiend for looking so amazing in yours! Will update when they arrive (ordered a few different ones to see what works). Lululemon leggings for me today though (and the ubiquitous Marks slouchy socks) as its a walking the dog in the rain sort of a day here in Scotland

happytobemrsg · 26/01/2020 10:33

Thanks everyone. I don’t really feel up to posting much but I am following & enjoying everyone’s outfits. Overdraft interest rates are changing in March & DH has quite an overdraft so I’m focussing on paying that off - it’s helping me shop my wardrobe that’s for sure!

Happy https://m2.hm.com/m/en_gb/productpage.0825728001.htmll*
I got £5 off mine yesterday as I had an offer for H&M members. I got a size 12 as even though I'm a 10 in most high street stores I am a 12 in H&M and TopShop.
Tim you can do 'what am I wearing today - Maternity wear' - I had a bump almost immediately with my second boy (I have 3). He turned out to be a big 9 pounder.

KiteflyingKat · 26/01/2020 13:34

Very boring from me today:
-jumper Ralph Lauren via TK Maxx

  • jeans Topshop
Boots - Timberland via charity shop

@Ellapaella I am looking forward to cute maternity outfits! It'll be when the weather gets warmer too so going to try and find some dresses that look nice and keep me cool.

Ellapaella · 26/01/2020 14:12

Yes you'll have an autumn baby! How lovely 😊
Today I'm wearing the H&M jumper with coated black skinny jeans.

I’ve ordered the trousers! I’ve been looking for some relaxed faux leather trousers for a while. I hope I like these. @Ellapaella what size is your zebra jumper?

OP posts:
happytobemrsg · 26/01/2020 14:32

@timswifey I lived in maternity jumpsuits when I was pregnant last year. So comfy

OP posts:
toastfiend · 26/01/2020 14:45

@KiteflyingKat they do offer Klarna if you want to buy them to try. I think they're worth it just for the comfort, it's like wearing comfy, slouchy clothes all the time! 🤣 I put my old horse on loan when I was pregnant. Sadly he had to be put to sleep following an injury. The one I have now is a youngster who was my present to myself when I went back to work. It's hard fitting it all in, but I'm so much happier when I have my own hobby.

Congratulations @timswifey. I was out of my jeans almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I didn't have much of a bunp for ages, but I just couldn't tolerate anything tight on my stomach at all.

Today's outfit is a bit random.

Skirt - Zara, old. Not fitted me for ages as I'd put on a lot of weight before I got pregnant, but I've managed to lose some recently so it's a little loose now, which is nice!
Jumper - H&M sale buy, so it's new but I have been looking for a slouchy top like it for a while and it was cheap.
Tights - M&S. Managed to ladder them just now but can't be bothered to change them now as I'm not going out again today. I'll bin them later.
Boots - 14-hole DMs. New to me. Chuffed with these, bought them second-hand and they were (relatively) cheap as chips and I don't think they've been worn at all really. Wearing them around the house to see how much breaking in they need before I risk a trip out!

It's a medium @happytobemrsg

cathyandclare · 26/01/2020 16:37

Love those pleather trousers @Ellapaella, you look better in your outfit that the model on the HM website!

I bought this plum velvet jacket/shrug thing to wear over a dress to the races. It didn't look right and I'm ashamed to say I never sent it back Blush. Both DDs rejected it. It's been lurking in my wardrobe, making me feel guilty. I've decided to rehabilitate it as a more everyday thing.

Jacket- Nancy Mac
Top- Kaliko (ancient)
Jeans- Diesel
Belt- Mulberry (from the 90s)

OublietteBravo · 26/01/2020 17:24

I’m back home, and I’ve finally managed to take a photo of today’s outfit I know the light is awful). I also managed not to buy anything in Oxford (except underwear - which was on my permitted items list)

Jumper: Warehouse
Trousers: Gap
Boots: Celtic & Co

Congratulations @timswifey - I no longer remember what I wore when I was pregnant (DS is my youngest - he’ll be 14 next weekend).

Thanks Ella.

Love love love your outfit @cathyandclare. That jacket deserves to be seen!

Hoping I’ll be well enough to go back to work on Tuesday so until then I’ll be in M&S loungewear. DH has just taken the boys out to see his mum for an hour. After feeling so rough, the silence is bliss. Going to read my kindle šŸ¤“

Fell off for a bit but no exciting outfits here really.

Today however, I’m back at work. After 6 months mat leave.

Wearing an oversized white shirt - jack wills
Blue patterned skinny ankle grazer trousers - M&S would you believe
Ballet flats - new look (need better wintery shoes but still haven’t spent on clothes shoes etc since Dec 30th so will get some shoes once I get paid!!)

Canary yellow scarf, yellow bag (both oasis I think) and red pea coat (asos).

Also taking my roxy/quicksilver overnight/gym bag with me as have my gym kit and about a billion things to go back to work. Bag is brown/turquoise and floral. It’s a bit of a statement.

OublietteBravo · 27/01/2020 08:31

@ememem84 - I hope your first day back goes well.

My weekend seems to have gone especially quickly, and I’m back in the office once again. I’ve got a lot to do - fortunately I’ve only got a handful of meetings.

Gilet: Karen Millen
Fine knit jumper: Jigsaw
