Now the photo whoops

I’m going to the theatre for a matinee performance later. In the meantime I’m at the climbing wall watching DD climb. It’s very cold here - I have thermal leggings on underneath my trousers.

Jumper: Hush
Trousers: Hobbs
Shoes: Doc Martens

The photo doesn’t really show the pattern on the trousers (they’re velvet) or the colour of the jumper (it’s quite sparkly). So I’ve added close-ups.

I wore a lovely plum Hollister dress yesterday but forgot to take a photo. It was a find in a local charity shop.
Today wearing my all time favourite jumper from zara with river island hot pants and black tights from m and s.

Very cold and drizzling again here today, I’m back from a freezing bike ride.

Hi everyone. @oubliettebravo I love your sparkly jumper

I started the day in jeans and a sweatshirt (and a very big coat - brrrr) to watch DS play football – but somehow ended up covered in mud Now changed into dress from Dorothy Perkins, fleecy tights from Aldi, jumper from monsoon and DMs.

My phone has died, so pics are terrible- but:
Pleated skirt- new Look
Black polo neck- Jigsaw
Jacket-River Island
Boots -Daniel
All v old.

@KiteflyingKat, thank you. 😊 They're very comfy. The Alexa trousers come up big so depends what fit you'd like. I'm a 10-12 and mine are the mediums as that was all that was in stock in the grey when I ordered. The brown were second-hand and have obviously shrunk a bit in the wash, so fit more like a small now. They're cotton so do get creased so probably would need ironing, although I'm lazy, hate ironing and prefer a more relaxed, slouchy look so I tend to just hang them up to dry and that gets rid of enough of the creases for me (don't tumble dry them unless you want to drastically shrink them). I'd probably say to go for the small if they're in stock as they are very oversized.

Dressed for boring Saturday morning chores today, like the food shop and a Post office run.

Boots - same as ever. I pretty much solely wear these. My DMs turned up today. Going to try them later. Then I'll probably wear only them. Creature of habit. 😂

@Talisin I really like the look of your outfit with the hush ruched skirt. I also have that skirt in black and in green and have never really figured out how to wear it with boots so don't get as much wear from them as I'd like, but I'm wondering now if I should give it a go with my DMs...

@cathyandclare your skirt today is gorgeous - I have definite skirt envy! I think we may have similar taste in skirts

Sorry I've not been posting, it's been a big week.

I have discovered that I'm pregnant! Only 5 and a half weeks but already jeans are uncomfortable so I'm in leggings and long tops mainly. The bloat is real!

Huge congratulations @timswifey ! When I was pregnant I was out of my normal jeans about 5 weeks in!

Popped into town for lunch with a friend and a wander round the shops.

I’m tempted, but not sure I’m cool enough to carry them off argh it’s so difficult, I don’t want to be a frumpy mum but don’t want to look too try hard either. I’m late 30s.
Also jealous of your horse by the way, mine (on loan) went back a couple of years ago now, really miss riding but I just couldn’t fit it in with a baby & work. I cycle a lot but it’s not the same

I haven’t had chance to take a photo yet - hopefully later (everyone was still asleep when I left home this morning, and I couldn’t access a mirror without waking somebody up). I’m heading to Oxford for the day - mainly for the rowing society meeting. I’m a bit worried that I might spend money if I’m somewhere with real shops...

@OublietteBravo I grew up near Oxford and went back to see my parents over Christmas. Me and my Mum went in to the city for a days shopping and it was amazing, they have some excellent shops that weren't there when I last went. The new Westgate centre is fantastic (not that I'm encouraging you to go and look obviously ).
