Yesterday and today's outfits here. Today is the first outing for my new silver high tops, courtesy of this thread šŸ˜„ I love them! I'm also keeping the green Phase Eight culottes that @OublietteBravo was wearing earlier in the thread. That's my Christmas money gone now so no more purchases for me for a while.

@KiteflyingKat I quite like the scarf. I have a few lovely scarves, but I've never quite figured out how to style them and never feel quite right in them.

Another one who likes a bit of Boden. Mostly bought in the sale though...

Day in and binge watching The Witcher from the sofa today. Was going to go with uninspired but comfy jeans & jumper but decided on thick tights and this metallic/velvet dress from the post Christmas Hush sale in the end.

Purplecatshopaholic · 18/01/2020 19:22

Ooh love that dress @Talisin

PalacePaper · 18/01/2020 19:28

Change of outfit to go out for dinner tonight - dress from Sainsbury's and shoes from Clarks. Sticking with my cosy tights Grin

I love that dress @PalacePaper! Serious dress envy!

KiteflyingKat · 18/01/2020 20:02

You look lovely @PalacePaper. enjoy dinner.

Sooverthemill · 18/01/2020 21:23

@talisin I've had my eye on that dress! Reviews say it comes up big. What do you think?
@PalacePaper enjoy your night out.
At 10 past 5 I changed into my Pyjamas!

Talisin · 18/01/2020 21:42

@Sooverthemill Definitely go down a size - you could almost go down two but I think the arms would be too tight. It’s very like the Ivy dress (and the glitter dress they’ve done before) but much heavier material so it actually hangs better. Downside is that you can’t really wear a cardigan or jacket over it as it looks too bulky and things stick out at an odd angle.

Sooverthemill · 19/01/2020 09:43

@Talisin I will take a look, thanks.

Comfort needed again to day and am going through all my Old jumpers to see if I still like/would wear

This is a very old Boden which is summer really. I think I'm quite like it still, have tucked it in a bit.

Jumper: Boden possibly 2013/14
Trousers: Baukjen cargo
Trainers: whistles

I like that jumper @Sooverthemill. (I also love your necklace - I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned that fact before).

I’ve definitely gone for warm and comfortable today. I originally envisaged the jumper dress being loungewear, but I’ve been wearing it out and about since the autumn.

Roll-neck base layer: Hobbs
Jumper dress: Jigsaw
Leggings: Primark
Boots: Celtic & Co

Hi everyone! Just popping in to say hi as I generally just lurk but had a great ā€˜shopping my wardrobe moment’ yesterday when I was coveting bags from the Mulberry sale...I dug out my small Bayswater, my barbour poncho, and one of my barbour shirts. Along with jeggings from Matalan and trainers from Jigsaw I came up with a fab outfit and felt really good when I went out. Of course I’d love to buy another bag but I’ve actually got a lot of really nice ones already.

Also, @OublietteBravo we obviously have very similar tastes - I’ve got your fab hobbs velvet blazer and also your Jigsaw jumper dress!

You all look lovely and it’s great inspiration to see everyone’s outfits.

Afternoon all. Your outfits are all lovely from the last few days.
I went out last night, drinks then the theatre, had a great night and wore this Hush dress with my biker and black suede boots. It was absolutely freezing last night though and I was very chilly walking between bars and to the theatre.

Love that dress, @Ellapaella! Maybe you need a new huge scarf to keep you warm and toasty next time?

(Sorry, SO not in the spirit of the thread! Wink )

OublietteBravo · 19/01/2020 14:51

I’m sure you meant that Ella should check her wardrobe to see if she has a suitable scarf for next time, didn’t you @Ninkanink Wink

Ninkanink · 19/01/2020 14:54

Yes, that’s exactly what I meant! Blush

Hoolajerry · 19/01/2020 15:30

Trackies and walking clothes for the last two days for me. Lovely to catch up with all your outfits.
*Sooverthemill' I thought you looked great in your skinnies.

I've got a pattern on today. I hardly ever wear patterns.
Jumper: Peacocks (was £5 in the sale but I think it's too boxy?!)
Black skinnies (unknown)

Thank you @mynameiscalypso and @flyingkitkat - the dress was a complete sale bargain last year -Ā£6! I find Sainsbury's really good for dresses.

@hoolajerry I really like your jumper, and your dress @ellapaelle - hope you had a lovely evening. @sooverthemill I am also usually in PJs by 7pm Grin

Today, black skinnies and jumper from mint velvet. With lots of layers underneath, it's cold today.

Ooh I've just bought the jumpsuit version of that dress @Ellapaella for DS' baptism in a few weeks. Love the pattern on you.

Ellapaella · 19/01/2020 16:35

I love a boxy jumper Jerry
Palace - did you ever watch 'The A Word'? Morven Christie's character had a jumper just like yours, I really admired it back then and was trying to find where it was from.

Ellapaella · 19/01/2020 16:36

@mynameiscalypso I didn't know there was a jumpsuit version, it'll look fab for a christening. The pattern is a bit mismatch (in a good way).

KiteflyingKat · 19/01/2020 19:06

No photo from today as just in weekend slob clothes as today involved muddy walking with a toddler! But here’s a (very rare!) night out outfit I meant to post yesterday:

  • Top Karen Millen
  • Faux suede leggings - Wolford
  • Boots M&S

Absolutely freezing here today, but a gorgeous sunny day so we wrapped up warm and spent the day outside as much as possible

@Ellapaella I bought that dress with my Christmas money! It looks gorgeous on you. DH and I have a rare dinner & theatre trip next week; I may take inspiration from you and wear mine... šŸ™‚

Ellapaella · 19/01/2020 21:51

@shadesofwinter definitely wear it, two of my friends were admiring it last night. I like it because it's not too 'dressy' but also totally right for wearing out in the evening. I wore with suede boots last night but I'm thinking I could also wear it with my black chunky DM type boots as well.

@KiteflyingKat oh my goodness I love those boots šŸ’•
