Thanks all agree about shorter jumper but even with shorter jumper the look is not “me” at all ! I’m definitely more of a jeans or shorter / tighter skirt person. But it’s good to experiment & that’s one reason I love charity shops so much as I can try stuff I’m not sure about cheaply & without killing the planet.

KiteflyingKat We are very lucky although it has ruined me slightly as I can't bare to buy regular priced clothing. They do have branches in different towns so worth a google to see if one near you.

@hoola I had a look but they are all in the Midlands & I’m near London.

To be fair we have excellent charity shops here and I’ve had some amazing finds. I also struggle to buy stuff full price and 95% of my wardrobe is from charity shops / eBay with bits from TK Maxx.

I’m wearing a jumper over a jumpsuit today. I’m not sure it really works - at least not on me. Perhaps I need a shorter jumper (but no spend)....

@Oubliette I think it looks great! Sometimes it takes a couple of wears to feel comfortable in a new thing( or way of wearing)

Taking baby DD into my office to say hello and thanks for our generous gifts today. (I work in a team of 23 men and their response to maternity leave was chuck a load of money at a JL sales assistant and have her pick out all the things ) These m&s relaxed fit T-shirt’s are my new favourite thing, don’t lose shape or get holes in and only £6 or so.

£8000 - who has that sort of money to spend on clothes?

Yes! I think they were high tops they didn't look very nice to me....the segment which I saw ( very unusually for me to catch the news but I confess I wanted to see more of the H&M debacle) was about the economics of 'athleisurewear'. People buy trainers straight on release day then zoom to specialist shops and sell at a huge profit! Who knew? And there were so many at well over £1000.

Thanks for the jumper live, it has 5% alpaca so I'm finding it slightly itchy but have taken an antihistamine and am hoping I will get used to it as I live it too

They also had the cellist from H&Ms wedding and I just bought his new album 'Elgar' for DH as an anniversary present ( later this month 21 years yikes). It's so beautiful
