Gosh isn't it cold today? Bloody freezing here.

Today am in same jeans as yesterday because I want to wear them out with new boots later ( and can't be bothered to change) as we have got a sitter so we can pop,out for coffee and a look at the sea

Jumper: Eileen Fisher new sale buy
Jeans: old jigsaw Richmond skinnies
Shoes: kurt Geiger very old

Later: boots from hush sale with Xmas present coat if it's raining, pink Boden coat if it's not! Cashmere hat and gloves ( all Boden sales years past)

Just going to the beach to walk the dog then I intend to have a nice chilled day with DH and the DC, been so busy lately I need a day to do not very much! Probably take the youngest out on his bike as he's not confident yet.

Just got a pair of Puma trainers in the sale for £18. I bought them along with a pair of Gazelles on sale for my husband's birthday in June so kind of justifying breaking the no spend rule.

It’s really rather windy here today. I’ve been on the go for ages already. So far I’ve walked DS to school, done some exercise, and dropped some parcels at the post office. I’m currently having a well-earned coffee.

Jumper: Hush (new, but a Christmas present from my sister so I didn’t spend any money on it)
Jeans: Mint Velvet
High tops: Mint Velvet (yes - I cracked, but they were such good value and I love them)

@Veronicat thank you! It's actually cotton but is very cosy. I love it and will get lots of wear from it I know.
DD too poorly to go out today so fingers crossed for tomorrow as sitter very kindly let me rearrange

I agree with all the chat about wanting some high-tops!

I'm also tempted to treat myself to some flares... they are coming back apparently and I used to love them when I was a child.

Might get some boho-inspired ones for summer and channel my inner-70s-child.

(Makes a note not to get rid of the flares that have been languishing in my wardrobe for over a decade)

Off to the hairdressers . Its horrendous weather here so I'm wearing my Dubarrys , Jean's, a jumper from Joules (when I de-fur it thanks to the ragdoll using it as a bed) and a red meranporth seasalt coat.

I saw a teenager in a pair of pink flares yesterday, she was wearing them with white trainers. My 18 year old stepdaughter has a bright red pair. It's going to take quite a bit of convincing for me to embrace them again but I look forward to seeing them when you get them @timswifey and how you style them.

Today I'm wearing the beautiful new Hush jumper that my lovely DM gave me for Christmas, with black jeans. Soon to be completed by walking boots as we head out for some fresh air.

Ellapaella I have a weirdly appealing pair of ankle grazing frayed flares from mango 2 summers ago. Probably the most "fashiony" think I own. Maybe it's that they are black but with a pair of tan sandals in the summer they look good! Not sure my brain could cope with dressing winter flares.

@LadyBundleBrent yes I have a cropped pair and agree they look good with sandals and summer footwear, I'm not sure how I'd make them work in colder months but am interested to see how others do it.

Gym wear! Just back from a long and muddy walk. Need to hose my walking boots!

I was supposed to go to the Post Office today @OublietteBravo but being lazy. Fab high tops!

2 pairs of trainers are still on my list. Wondering if the black Hush high tops would work since I already have black/leopard print normal trainers from last year which I love.

No, looking back they are from jigsaw. The Olivia ( not sure if they still do them, super comfy)

@LadyBundleBrent sorry your kids have been sick. My week has been tough too! We are going to have fish and chips and open a rare bottle of wine which we never do tonight to celebrate getting through with no ambulance trip!

soover now if that isn't a reason to celebrate I don't know what is! Enjoy every drop and bite. And the jumper looks really good too.

@ladybundle thanks! It was bloody hairy at one point and GP who visited was a little bit cross I hadn't done so and I promised next time I would! DH was away and I just didn't know what to do for the best. I may even eat chocolate

I might start with some plain black flares that I can wear when I have concerts (standard concert dress is all black) and I think flares would be more flattering than the wide leg palazzo pants I've been wearing for the past few years.
