I think it is largely genetics .. do things like sun screen, water, diet, yoga etc really help?

I think slightly overweight people have better skin. Very fit and active people with lot body fat look much older IMHO. But it is down to hair (lighter, decent cut), and avoiding aging clothes too.

I’m often told I look younger. I don’t drink or smoke. Have seen a bit of sun though. I supplement with grass fed gelatin powder and it’s my MN secret.

Everyone that's posted pics looks lovely but definitely not young for their age.

I'm 96, but I know it!

I'm 45, and I said when I put my photo on first, everyone looks their age, you can look good or bad, but it's very unusual for someone not to look within five or so years of their actual age. And I do, I know I do, I was just accused of 'pouting' so I thought I'd give it a good pout. But my motivation was lost in the thread of time!

Genetics, sunscreen, never smoked.

Also had my DC in my 20s, so people don’t expect me to have the age of children I do, which makes them say ‘oh, you don’t look old enough to have a XX yr old’ which is always nice to hear!

Good genes and looking after myself.I am frequently told I look a lot younger than I am. Staying slim helps too.

Genetics and not smoking. My mum is 77 but looks in her early 60s. She looks far younger than my dad who is also 77 but looks it. I’m a bit fatter than ideal but not massive (as Joan Collins once said, “Over 40, you can have your face or your figure, but you can’t have both”). I also have great, thick, shiny, long hair that I think makes me look younger, and a large part is attitude. I’m an academic so I get to spend time with smart, engaged, young people who have views and ideas and want to share them. It makes me happy and I think that shows on my face.

I have no idea. Quite a few people think I am around 10years younger. I don't wear make up, and I am not into fashion. And if you look at me there are clearly wrinkles, grey hairs and age spots.
Perhaps it is because we have similarly aged children? Perhaps it's my attitude? Perhaps nobody really looks?
